    So are we thinking...

    Tweet on monday, january 4th
    Announcement Friday, January 8th
    Lottery Friday the 8th - Thursday 14th
    Public onsale Friday January 15th

I'm not playing this game anymore lol

I understand being excited for the Dec 11th date because that was actually planned, but just throwing dates out there with no support? That will drive me insane over the next month

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but they may have delayed their announcement to be after Bonnaroo announces their lineup in January (I know this was already mentioned). Alot of chatter going on about this.

I know most of you hate festival shows, but Roo is different. The headliners can play as long as they want to, so no short PJ set due to curfews and such.

Last time they played Bonnaroo they only did a 26 song set list, but maybe they cut that short to accommodate Kanye

Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

How likely is a new album in the Spring? Didn't lightning bolt have over a year of "leaks" and updates on the band working on songs, and what not. Has anyone heard anything about them recording? Plus, didn't they release MYM several months before the album release?

MYM was released about a week before Wrigley and played for the first time a few days before at the London, ONT show

I just really hope it's not because of Coachella (rumoured to be announced JAn 5). I've been a few times, but it is just not the right environment for PJ. Sets of 1.45hrs at best and poseurs galore. Has been getting progressively worse, and I'd rather full shows

I didn't think it was rushed. They were kind of backed into a corner--Bonnaroo's schedule had them listed for only two hours (10:15-12:15), but with no one else on the What Stage the rest of the night. Kanye was supposed to be the primetime headliner on the Which Stage (the second-largest), at 8:30 pm or something, but he balked at the last minute (after all the programs, maps, etc. had been printed, requiring flyers all over the grounds to announce lineup changes) and insisted his light show would only work after full dark--though I believe the real intention was to get time when all other stages were dark and he had the crowd all to himself. So the promoters moved him to 2:45 am on the What Stage, after Pearl Jam (Phil Lesh had a 1am slot on the Which Stage). So PJ ran longer than scheduled (ultimately, it was about 2 hrs 40 minutes, I think, from 10:35 to 1:15, which is still great for a festival set), and Kanye was late to start--while he blamed Pearl Jam's overrun, he was actually far later than the amount they went past their written time--something like two hours late, when they'd been only about an hour past time. And, in the greatest irony, his "Glow in the Dark Tour" show wound up being played mostly after the sun rose on Sunday morning. Just in time to keep me from sleeping.

I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

That would eliminate the Nashville rumor do to obligations not to play with 90 miles of Manchester if you are a top tier act.
  • I feel like bonnaroo isnt going to happen. Inforoo forums seem to have ruled pearl jam out as a headliner, plus the rumored nashville date would be in violation of bonnaroos radius clause.

Obviously this is what's happening, January announcement of a huge US tour in the spring in support of a new album, plus a No Code and Yield reissue plus Lost Dogs 2. After each show the members of the band will visit each 10c member in attendance at their own home or hotel room, sign several things and give away tickets for future tours.

    Confirmed.
