    what "cult" are you talking about? Whenever I see the greek guy post on here he is nothing but kind, positive, fun, and enthusiastic about pearl jam... the guy wants to hear a rock song at a rock concert, some people are having fun rooting for the guy...

    Seriously brother, who pissed in your pearl jam cheerios? You slways seem like a goid dude, I'm not trying to he a dick or argue with you, just saying let the guy have fun. Isn't that what this is for, entertainment & fun?

    I think what we have here is a matter of coincidence. This thread should stand on it's own. It is about one fan's simple wish. A simple request: to put an end to a dreadful song in an otherwise glorious catalog of music that has brought such joy to so many of us. If it became a movement along the way, something thousands of fans have gotten behind, then so be it. We will be heard. A simple request with a special meaning. The band knows why. This is an organic groundswell of a movement. We're working for something here...that one can never hold.

    No. I think there should be a separate forum for them (as i said in uet another thread). Do they clutter up the boards? Yes. Does thread after thread for them on the porch annoy me? Yes. Do I think random requests generally work? No.

    Does it hurt for Dimitris to ask? No. More than that though, I think people singling out one specific request like this is an asshole thing to do. People DO do it all the time. But now one person has made one song request for the first time ever as far as I know, and suddenly this thread? That's bullshit.
