Foos didn't play any shows in FL, SC, or NC during their last tour. I really hope this doesn't happen. I was a big foo fan back in the day but I can't stand them now. I'd rather see Ben Harper and the innocent criminals open9/4/98, 8/4/00, 12/8/02, 12/9/02, 4/15/03, 4/16/03, 4/19/03, 4/25/03, 4/26/03, 4/28/03, 4/29/03, 4/30/03, 7/8/03, 7/9/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/6/04, 9/1/05, 9/2/05, 5/16/06, 5/17/06, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 5/30/06, 6/1/06, 6/3/06, 8/5/07, 6/11/08, 6/12/08, 6/14/08, 6/16/08, 6/24/08, 6/25/080

All of this. Dave is an awesome guy but it has been a long time since he wrote good tunes.TheGossman said:Foos didn't play any shows in FL, SC, or NC during their last tour. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0 -
They sure have been taking notes from Pearl Jam lately. Not to take off topic but Foo Fighters have put up a countdown clock on their website lol.
For example ..0 -
Like a ton of people on this board, I saw the Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam 24 hours apart from each other at Midtown Festival in Atlanta in 2012 and it was a ton of fun! But... I also saw just Pearl Jam in Moline and Milwaukee last year... and it was way better! Take a full set-list any day.Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.0

I agree, was at both and they were in top form. Hard to pick which shows are going to be the special ones, you just have to be lucky and be in the right place at the right time.RiotAct10 said:
I was at Pittsburgh '13 & Cincy '14 and I have zero complains about those first shows. I think the band was excited to be back on stage and they were both very high energy. I also think over the last few tours it looks like every show has been fantastic.foodboy said:first shows and last shows of tours are usually not the best in my experience. first show getting rust off etc, last shows voice not so good unless good spacing of dates.

Don't forget about DeLuna Fest just the week before where Pearl Jam headlined Friday night and Foo headlined Saturday night. Watching two great bands, while your feet are buried in the sand, is quite grand (Eddie, you can steal that line if you're reading).coco butter said:Like a ton of people on this board, I saw the Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam 24 hours apart from each other at Midtown Festival in Atlanta in 2012 and it was a ton of fun! PJ's set wouldn't be three hours if they were playing with FF. Co-headlining tours are lame- PJ only please!Funkez said:
But why..? 5 hours of great music is better than 3 right? And the ghoul is pretty rock'n'roll, proved so in Stockholm earlier this year.rival9500 said:I would hate if Pearl Jam did a coheadlining tour with anyone.

Should make it easier if you log in early enough......if not, you get the vwr and its a crap shoot. At least the cheaters using spinners will be focused on the ticketmaster sales and not the other sites so much.SVRDhand13 said:I'm just remembering now that Wells Fargo tix are not sold on TM, which makes it even a little crazier getting tix.

Just lost out on purchasing a house - the seller pulled out literally at the last minute, so now I'm on the hook for lawyer's fees and what not with nothing to show. Really hoping a Euro leg is announced now! (Though still doubt it).Isle of Wight, 23rd June 2012
