Could it be possible, in light of the imminent South America Tour, to listen some of the past SA bootlegs (´05, ´11, ´13). If so, would it be too much to ask for a schedule, so I make sure I don´t miss them?
Many thanks in advance!0 -

I do the same thing. As soon as I hear that impact tracks sounder, I change the channel, and I typically don't go back to PJ radio until the next time I drive. I wonder if they can track to see how many people switch channels when an impact track is played.Annr95 said:
Seriously, the other day it was every other song...I switched over to lithium and was much more satisfied.Kanye East said:Can we please cut back on the number of "impact tracks" that are played on PJ radio? It seems like they play one every 3-4 songs. I understand sprinkling a few "impact tracks" here and there, but every 3-4 songs is ridiculous. I listen to PJ Radio to hear Pearl jam, not X or Fugazi. When I hear the sounder for the impact tracks, I change the channel.

Personally, I have enjoyed some of the impact tracks. People this is the band's channel, and they are going to do what they want. Giving exposure to some of their friends is going to happen.
Seems like a pretty Republican way of thinking "PJ or nothing" for a band and its fans who seem to be more socially conscious.
Those other bands are pretty thankful I am sure, you all sound like elitist snobs.0 -
Guess you wouldn't complain if you were at a PJ concert and every 3-4 songs they bought up another band to play either?1ThoughtKnown said:Personally, I have enjoyed some of the impact tracks. political leanings with regards to wanting to hear what it is described on the band's radio station makes zero sense. people are asking and giving feedback, which this band and its management seem to welcome.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

The impact tracks wouldn't be so bad if they weren't the same dozen or so over and over and over and over. There is absolutely no reason, whatsoever, with all the music that is out there that has either influenced PJ or been influenced by PJ, that I should ever hear the same 2 Arctic Monkeys songs multiple times a day, every damn day.Post edited by HesCalledDyer onStar Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

I can listen to PJ Radio every day, they don't play live every day. Odd response.0 -
Have you listened to Sirius/XM? I have been a subscriber since 2004. No matter what channel you listen to, it's going to get repetitive.HesCalledDyer said:The impact tracks wouldn't be so bad if they weren't the same dozen or so over and over and over and over. Some PJ songs are played pretty frequently as well (ie Rats from Calgary and Hard to Imagine from Baltimore from 2013 come to mind).
I'm just saying Rob, love the channel. I don't listen to it every day, but whenever I switch over I know 98% of the music is good. That's a whole lot more than ANY other radio station.0 -
The point is: you go to a Pearl Jam concert expecting to hear Pearl Jam. You turn on PJ Radio expecting to hear Pearl Jam as well.1ThoughtKnown said:

Nevermind, obviously you are an unreasonable person who thinks they way they expect things is the only way.

I'd prefer one impact track an hour and no contemporaries. But I enjoy the station as is and have several other stations to change to if need be.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

Wow, so you're calling me an elitist snob because I don't want to hear an "impact track" every 3rd song on a SiriusXM station called PJ radio, that I pay for? And a Republican at that? You're mistaken my friend. I am allowed to voice my opinion on this matter, as I feel the "impact tracks" have been on a much heavier rotation lately. You obviously don't listen to PJ radio. But thanks for your worthless comments anyway.1ThoughtKnown said:Personally, I have enjoyed some of the impact tracks. People this is the band's channel, and they are going to do what they want. I cancelled my SiriusXM subscription and made it a point to tell them the only reason was because of my dislike for the impact tracks and contemporaries. I only listened to it in the car and my wife still subscribes in her car so if there is a show I really want to hear, I can always stream it through my phone. My wife is a big Elvis fan and when they changed the PJ format, she was very surprised. When you tune into Elvis radio, all they have is Elvis.Pre-1013...Married to a buzzkill...

Listen to it all the time. Been a Sirius subscriber before they even came to Canada. You are allowed to voice your opinion and so am I.Kanye East said:
