Oh goodness. So other people aren't allowed to make excuses but when the Patriots lose its the refs fault? Glorious.

That's all fine and good, but Eli never lost to Brady in the Super Bowl.
  • Good for Eli, power to him. If you watched the undefeated season Super Bowl, you cannot say there were not questionable calls. I'm not using it as an excuse as much as to point out the fact that there were. Like I said, I've moved on and the Pats are 1-1 in Super Bowls since. But Eli in the grasp and the fumble when the Pats player was on his back under a pile for 10 seconds are just two that come to mind from that game as well as the ghost holding calls that were called against the Pats. I believe the NFL, in protecting their mystique, didn't want the Pats to go undefeated, particularly after the spy gate allegations.

I'll ask again, what's the contrived controversy going to be as this season progresses and the Pats continue to win? Way too much money sloshing around in and around the NFL for there not to be. The NFL is the new WWF. But I still like to watch and root for my team.

there is no controversy. they are cheaters...convicted...twice. it's not like getting into an ARD program and the label is wiped clean after you serve your time. once a felon it always stays on your record. once disciplined for cheating always a cheater.

Tell that to cliffy and aroid. Did they cheat last year? Against the hawks? Or the colts? Dallas? Buffalo? Wah, wah, wah. And no other team or player in nfl history ever cheated. Not even a little?

Glorious. The only reason the Giants won is because the league is literally rigged.

The team rolls on even after multiple sacks on Brady in the first half. Adjustments made (the good teams do that) and I believe no sacks in the second half. Unfortunately I went to sleep after the first quarter but I knew this game was not going to be close. The team rolls on, whose next.....?

Good for Eli, power to him. If you watched the undefeated season Super Bowl, you cannot say there were not questionable calls. I'm not using it as an excuse as much as to point out the fact that there were. Like I said, I've moved on and the Pats are 1-1 in Super Bowls since. Glorious. The only reason the Giants won is because the league is literally rigged.
this is awesome. so the league is fixed...except of course when the Pats win???? gotta love that logic. #patsfanslogic

No, the reason both times the Patriots lost was that they were simply out played by the Giants. Especially, defensively and many times that's the root to victory in the big games. That said, I hope the Patriots continue to keep that chip no a cinder block on their shoulders and kick ass.

It would be too ironic to see Goodell hand Brady or Kraft that 50th Lombardy Trophy. Then watch Brady stare Goodell off the stage....that would be too funny. I hope that scenario can come to pass.

no ironic would be Goddell going to federal court so he didn't have to give the trophy to them.

Lol, that scene would be worse for Goodell's legacy and that would make him out to look like a
    Whimp.
