That looks and sounds real good. It sort of reminds me of when I lived up north and I would fly down to Fort Lauderdale to the Langerado festival. It was always around early March and once on my birthday. It was nice to get away from the cold. So who is the rumored headliner?

Nice review on the VH show, it's got me stuck listening the albums from their beginning. Fair Warning being one of my favorites but I can't find Women and Children First.

The Mrs and I went to the Luke Bryan concert last night.I know a lot of my friends here don't like any country music, but Bryan is like biggest bro country act out there with a lot of big hits.Because I'm a season seat holder we go to some shows that are usually outside our genere just to enjoy some live energy and music. We also have a great venue.
May I just say what a fucking sat night party.35,000k packed house.70% female in daisy Dukes and boots(oh,how I love living in the south). We had a great time, drinking cold beer, rockin out under the warm tropical South Florida night.Sweatin away, people watching. What a big hot glorious mess.
Country is clearly way more popular in the live music arena. It all sounds pretty rockin live. Not twangy at all.Good sing along cruisin or beach music. Its not just for rednecks anymore.

I recommend to those that shut it out,to open your minds to some good stuff.Well some of it anyway.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.I got some fresh Hog Snapper w lemon broiling now.mmmm

Well, you know my love of the Highwaymen whether as a collective or individually. And Kid Rock. Bit of Hank too. It's all connected in my mind, on the musical front. Blues, jazz, country, rock n roll, and on.

Thank god for music. All of it.

(ok, most of it =) )

    Thanks Cal.
I never really looked at them like adventures. We just call it the weekend.

we're making up for the child raising years.lol.10-12 years of schlepping across the country damn near every weekend, when the kids were playing Travel Ice Hockey and Skating.then recruiting trips, etc, etc.

So why not live and love to the fullest now? We do love us some live music, rowdy fun and a tasty beverage or three.
Next time you meander to the swamps or beaches of So FL there is a cold beverage with your name on it.

I hear there are rivers down there that are 30 feet deep and clear enough you can see your keys if you drop them in...I'd Like to to kayak a river like that someday.

  • Thought I would spend today putting together a swingset.
    Boy was I wrong.
Looks like I'll need the weekend to do it.
    Instructions are a novel thick.

Wait until you get done and have a couple extra screws and a washer left over. That's the best part, wondering if it's all going to come crashing down or if the manufacturer put extra parts in.
