Pearl Jam Symbols

I'm in the process of planning out a new forearm tattoo. It will be a mix of PJ lyrics (Just Breathe) and Modest Mouse lyrics (Float On). I want to be able to include a symbol for each of the bands, in conjunction with the words. For MM, there will be some sort of hot air balloon/anchor thing. But, I'm having a hard time coming up with a symbol/image for the PJ part of it. I like Stickman, but I don't know that I want it on my body, especially as part of this tat that I'm envisioning.
Can anyone suggest some other symbols, or websites that I can check out (I tried Google already, and apparently not searching for the right things)?

    "Alive" stick man?

(edit: I missed that you mentioned it in your initial post...this said, it is the pj symbol for me)

Hahaha. Awesome!! Though, not really what I'm going for!

I like the idea of the No Code triangle/eye. That would probably fit in a bit better with the rest of the overall design in my mind. Though I do realize that Stickman is the ultimate PJ symbol, I don't really want it etched into my skin. As a sticker on my car, absolutely! :-)
So, No Code triangle/eye is now in the running. I welcome other ideas if people have them!

You could always use a sticker design or a piece from a poster of an epic show you attended. I'm still planning my 2010 Dublin Klausen Tree poster tat.

I know it's mostly an EV thing, but you could use the wave symbol he often adds to his signature.

I like the EV wave symbol ... and the no code triangle / eye.
I have a sticker ... cannot remember where I got it ... it's a tiger with Pearl Jam written in the body to form part of the tiger's stripes. Love it.

EV wave is pretty cool. I'll throw that into the possible mix too!

Duh!! Three crooked hearts!! Can't believe I didn't think of that.
Ok, so I gotta see what would fit in better: 3 crooked hearts, No Code eye, or EV wave.

Consider any of the doodles in the lyric sheets/books as well. I've always liked the pineapples/bombs (was that from Binaural? Insignificance?)

Is there somewhere I can find these online all in one place?
  • You're too good for the stick man guy, yet you're considering getting the all seeing eye? That is what the no code eye image is. It sits atop of the pyramid in the same fashion.

Please for the love of god do some research on that before getting the tattoo.

I see so many people with stars and skulls and I often wonder what percentage of them know what those things actually represent, what their meaning is and where they originated. I would bet it would be very low.

The only meaning that matters is the meaning to the person getting the tattoo.

First, I never said I was "too good" for the Stickman. I said I don't want that particular design on my body. I have no problem if you personally hold it in high regard.
Second, thanks for throwing your personal interpretation of "the all seeing eye" and stars and skulls and whatnot into the mix. Really appreciate your implied contempt for the way people decide to decorate their own bodies with their own personal artistic interpretations.
Third, if you don't approve of what's already been mentioned, come up with a suggestion of your own for consideration...

I'm not aware of a collective locale online. Best bet is just to sift thru the booklets themselves. If I had a scanner, I'd upload them for ya. But alas, that is one peripheral I don't have.

I'll have to see if we can dig them up. They're likely packed up in storage, unfortunately, as we are trying to sell our house... Guess I'll have to go digging through boxes!! :-)
