Got VIP tickets to the Champions Tour stop here in Calgary on Sunday.
Fred Couples, Monty, Jimenez, Ames, O'Meara, the Walrus, many others! Going to be a blast. We don't get many PGA-like events around here.
Pretty excited, should be a lot of fun to drink beer and rub elbows with these guys

    Freddy is the fucking man!

Canada has to defend that gold medal from 1904

Hearn or DaLaet are going to bring home that gold medal in the "exhibition"

He answered the question. Olympics don't matter to him. You think he is alone? I don't watch them or the Winter Olympics. Such a racket, the IOC. Has ruined the Olympics for me the way FIFA ruined the World Cup

Really? To me it is just an exhibition or just a way for the Olympics to add recognisable faces. It's a good marketing tool.

There are probably 10 tournaments on the PGA calendar that any golfer would probably prefer to win over the Olympic gold. It's just like tennis. The 4 majors are miles above winning Olympic gold.

Is it as much of a joke as allowing NBA players? No.
Will I watch it? Yes, but my stomach won't be turning if one of my guys has an 8 footer for birdie. But it will be a good bit of fun.

Old course or karakung or whatever it is?

Played the old course in the spring and it was in surprisingly good shape. Am sure the drought destroyed it though

I think it's pretty cool it is going to be in the Olympics and it's for essentially the same reason the walker, Ryder and presidents cups are so popular. The schedule next summer is going to be all kinds of fun and I think people like Scott are babies for whining about it.

Remember how big of a deal it was with Rory deciding who he was going to play for? Rooting for your country in golf is always a blast to me.

Not saying it is the same thing as winning the masters but there is a big difference between saying it isn't on the level of the masters and skipping it all together

I've played 3 out of the past 4 weekends and my score has improved each time. Starting to feel a little confident. But I still can't hit a fucking driver to save my life. Generally tee off with my 4 iron or hybrid. I just ordered myself a 3 iron.....if I'm going to constantly hit an iron off the tee, I might as well give myself a little more distance.

I shot an 82 with 38 putts the other day. I had three eagle chances. What a waste, I hit the ball as well as I ever have.

Not an official bet, I'll enter a few Draftkings contests and try and make some cash. I really like DJ to make up for the 2010 flub and I like your boy Adam Scott

I'm pulling for Rickie though, as usual

Are you surprised by Rory's odds after missing a month?

Yeah, terrible bet. Especially with how accurate you have to be off the tee here.

Looking at some good odds on Kuchar. Can be a really accurate player. DJ obviously played well in 2010 but I don't like him this weekend at all for some reason.

Bill Haas is another one who has been playing well of late and I can see setting up well at this course.

Spieth, Rickie and Rose all obviously have a good shot too.

I threw some action down on Jason Day at 10/1. Also did a prop bet that there will be a hole in 1 which was around even money.

    Day playing well early too.
