B, was it you who turned me onto this, which I'd originally thought was a Costello deal?

    So so pretty.

Where are the strong? And who are the trusted?

(I know where the harmony is, though :) )

Ah! Such an awesome song, Hedo!

I know I posted that Lowe original somewhere on one of the PJ forum sections but where and when...? Failed memory test, haha! Good to hear it again!

Something tells me you would :) at this, Luxman.

Just adore this guy too. So talented.

Crazy talented and really stretched into all different kinds of music when he went solo. He never really stopped having his hand in all kinds of projects. An avid cyclist too.

I can't remember off the top of my head where I saw it - maybe that CBS Sunday morning show a few years ago? - but Byrne had a badass piano installation at a museum, I think. Innovative in a "the fuck, really?" way. I'll post a link if I can find one.

Meantime, as I've been exploring and sucking up all sorts of music today, I came upon this.

  • An odd collaboration there!
Here you go Hedo, I posted this somewhere before, but it's the spawn of another crazy talented dude with John Tesh of all people rocking out.

I have this concert on CD and DVD and was just listening to it the other day in the car. One of my favourite muscians, and Talking Heads was (still is!) one of my favourite band.

I love how it's not just PJ that binds us, but music itself.

Not to mention the healing powers when just inhaled, solo.

Watching this right now, and venture to say my smile is bigger than Jack's.

rr, I believe that Ramones clip was filmed out here in 1992 - according to youtube, anyway. And...I'm answering your Cornell / Singles question here vs that other thread. Are you talking about this? (been quite awhile since I watched the film!)

First of all the clip cuts out right before the classic"I've had many, many beers line" in that phone booth.I still use that line regularly.
I know of those Cornell Cameo moments.
I'm talking about the clown/mime that's riding in the backseat, during one of the scenes.Look at the face it looks like Cornell.Ill try to find it.
That great Crowe movie has forever ruined garage door openers as gifts.lol

Hey Hedo! Yeah, cool! Sorry I missed this earlier. Great song! Byrne is amazing. I saw the expanded T.H. (with the great Adrian Belew) at the S.F. Civic in '82. David was burning bundle of energy- never stopped moving and during Belew's solos he ran laps around the stage. Crazy great show (opening band was Black Uhura with Sly and Robbie- WOW!)

hehe! Today? LOL! No, if it were today it would have to go:

    "Do you still need me
    Are you still feeding me
    Now that I'm 64?"

It just doesn't have the same ring, ya know?

However, as it is, today is the last day that song fits my life the way it was written!
