Hats off to David Hearn on his performance at the Canadian Open. He hung in there with some great players, but he just couldn't sink any putts, though his playing partner Bubba couldn't believe they weren't dropping.
Hats off to Jason Day, great player and he showed it on those final four holes. Glen Abbey is great for an exciting finish.
I wish this tournament was still in September and not right after the British Open. But it is our Open and Canadian golf looks like it is bright with Hearn, DaLaet, Hadwin and Svensson.
Grandpa and I were glued to the final round, and our hearts sank a little as Hearn's approach on 18 found the left green side bunker when he needed an eagle to force a playoff.
Great clutch birdie putt by Day on 18 to force the issue after his tee shot found the fairway bunker and he had to lay up. Birdied the final four to win by a stroke.
Drives on 17 - Day 387 yards, Watson 386. Right down the middle. WOW

I'm so happy the Canadian winless streak continues.1ThoughtKnown said:Hats off to David Hearn on his performance at the Canadian Open. He hung in there with some great players, but he just couldn't sink any putts, though his playing partner Bubba couldn't believe they weren't dropping.
