I've seen Iron Maiden live before. They were pretty damn good. I'm obviously biased towards PJ (like we all are) so I don't feel I can make an unbiased determination on the better live band. I'll vote PJ, but it's an extremely biased vote
Pj is still winning and once again have been holding the lead for the longest time so far. Iron Maiden wasn't winning for long when they got ahead by that little bit.
Stockholm 2000. Maiden was playing a show The following (or previous) night and were watching the show. They were leaving during the encore and Eddie had the audience say "goodbye Maiden". Then Mike played the riff from Number of the Beast.
Ha, that's actually not what I was thinking, but you jogged my memory.
Same riff, but it was when Eddie was telling the MSG crowd after Do The Evolution that the crew just informed them that they are only 3rd or 4th band that ever made the stage shake at MSG. Think he told everyone it was them, Iron Maiden, and Bruce, or something to which they replied with the good ol' 'Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce'.....
absolutely. Grateful Dead was the 4th... the whole building shakes
Furthermore.... During the Corduroy opener on 5/21/10 Ed screams "can you feel it? I can feel it!" referring to the crowd making the floor bounce. Scorching opener for that show.

is it just me or is it sad that there is that many X Japan fans that are that much more devoted then us? like sorry X Japan fans but they suck big time
I never heard of them myself. I think they look like a bad cross between Aerosmith and Poison. Sounds like they are immensely popular in Japan, then again David Hasselfhoff is huge in Germany, for whatever that's worth.
Evidently they haven't made an album in 20 years. I also saw they played Lolla in 2010. They were the 25th band in the lineup. So perhaps I'm being an ethnocentric American here, but you can't be a worldwide powerhouse and bill at 25th.

I voted for tool, not working.
even if I look and act really crazy.
Maiden were the first band I saw live, but they play the same set every night which lets them down.
PJ always for me, but I fear the final will be pointless against X Japan!

I just started voting now. Wasn't quite sure what the thread was about before.
This is a fun thing to do on the side.
