People who write in and underline sentences in Library books. Who cares what you think is important. Don't deface the book!

I'll add to that: people who fold the corners of pages in books. How hard is it to get a bookmark? Just stick a piece of paper in between the pages to hold your place.
I am guilty. I dogeared every book I ever read. However, because of a problem with bedbugs being carried in library books, I only borrow ebooks from the library, so I am now safe from your disdain.

Bed bugs love books because people take books to bed with them. Since they take them to bed with them, they infest the books as well, thus causing a library book bed bug issue. Believe me, no library books are allowed in the bedrooms and we check each and every one before it comes into the house. Yuck.

I read that they can live up to a year without feeding (um, ON YOUR BLOOD!), so I'm skeptical of this one day in the freezer thing. They seem eerily hearty.

Fleas can last a year...the eggs just sit around in your carpet and when they sense movement/ vibration and body heat, they hatch instantly to feed.

I know diatomaceous earth will kill fleas and bed bugs.

I read the same thing. The treatment I remember reading is to saran wrap your books individually for a year. Personally I wouldn't be afraid of library books but I'd check them before checking them out if your library has reported cases. I mean I skim through the books to make sure there's no writing or messed up pages, so a slightly more thorough bedbug check isn't too much lol.

A good hacking cough would help. Could you imagine the conference calls with all of the coughing in the background? I think that might get him moving quicker.

One of the local hospitals just put a new dress code in place and part of that dress code involves wearing underwear. If ever you are in my corner of Ohio and in need of medical attention, I'll make certain to send you to the panties optional hospital.

I know! Bedbugs are in my nightmares! Yes, there was a rash of incidents last year where a bunch of people carried bedbugs home in their library books. Enough so it hit the news. Ever since then I have not borrowed a hard copy book from the library, and never will again! So I'm really happy ebooks are a thing that you can borrow now. :) There are still a lot of titles that aren't available electronically, but more and more all the time.

Fucking IDIOTS who make a u-turn in the middle of a busy four-lane boulevard because they can't wait an extra three minutes for a light to change.

A bit ago today, some dipshit sideswiped my husband's beautiful 2010 Camaro SS. We were commenting just this morning how it's still in such pretty shape since he bought it.

More than anything I'm beyond grateful he's not hurt (though the time in between him texting me one word - "accident" - and then not hearing anything back for a good half-hour took my mind to some dark and fucked up places).

Caught in a mix of relief, anger and wanting to bawl. (interesting - just as I'm writing this, he sent me the same message, almost verbatim)

How I would love to beat the shit out of this thoughtless person (the other guy! Not my husband. I want/need to hug him.) Use your mirrors. TURN YOUR FUCKING HEAD AND LOOK.

Sorry - just had to let it out.

Got a hair appt. in an hour which I hope will help me chill some. Ha!

*edit to Rob - you're lucky I'm distracted otherwise I'd give you some shit for your JJ comment ;)
