Thank you, universe

and the band, and all of you.. I've never written anything to the Ten Club before, but today is my 35th bday, and I feel overwhelmed with feelings of joy & gratitude that I would love to share and pass along to all of you.. I've still got my little paper Vitalogy Health Club card, c.1995, but because life is the way it is, I haven't been able to keep up my membership every year. Still, I've been so grateful to see the band in Hartford every year since I was 14, & much love especially for my 28th bday show, 6/27/08 (an ecstatic 11-song encore, including "Garden","Leash","Do the Evolution","Alive".. WE LOVE YOU TOO!!!!!! ) This band, the music, all of the people involved, the fans, the whole experience, has meant the world to me, and been a part of my daily life since way back in the day, keeping me going through all of the shit...while also enhancing, expressing, and building upon the amazing truthiness of all of the good stuff in life too. After a year of looking, I was recently blessed w a full-time job at a farm that I love... I've been a farmer my whole life, which mostly explains both my lack of money, & overabundance of gratitude.. As a bday present to myself, I just bought the $40 membership, and am looking forward once again to fan club tickets and my first Xmas vinyl since the Yield tour. I'm not old enough to remember when a dime bag cost a dime, but I remember when the Ten Club cost ten bucks, and I am in no way complaining, only reminiscing with a heart brimming full of love... PJ has never disappointed, but has never failed to understand, and to uplift, on so many levels.. I unexpectedly got out of work a few hours early tonite, & I've had "No Ceiling" on repeat ever since, while sipping Lagunitas IPA, &waiting for my friends to arrive. I'm SO thankful for the ability to buy myself this bday present, and for this life, this moment, and this music that has always, always been there, like my best friend in the whole world...Thank you, & blessings to all of you, I'll see you on the 2015 tour!!
