Was it a clusterfuck abandoning ship, taking your tent down, and sitting in your car? When I went last year, my campsite was as far away from the festival entrance as you could get and still be on the property.FrankieG said:Had a great weekend! I was at Sublime when the made the announcment, which was the stage closest to the south exit, which is the direction I had to go to get back to my campsite. My site was about 1.5 miles out. It was a very organized hike back. Nobody freaking out, everyone understood what was coming. I got back before it started to rain and just grabbed a few things from my tent and got into my car. I had my tent and ez-up staked down really well so I left them up. It didn't rain hard at all. Heavy wind and lightning though. My stuff survived just fine, no damage. I saw many other sites with broken Ezups/tents/etc. Not sure if I just got lucky or if I my stuff was better quality? Either way, sleepin gin the car kinda sucked, but I could have woken up and moved back to my tent if I wanted to. Alot of people packed up their site Sunday Morning, and then left after the Killers. I assume because their tent got wet. But mine was dry enough to sleep in, so I stayed until Monday morning.the tiki bomb said:

Yeah, seems like the "festival lineup bubble" needs to burst. A couple festival s need to be really well under-attended, and then maybe they will realize that they need to increase the caliber of the acts.SVRDhand13 said:

Agreed and agreed. Now that I'm back on the east coast, thought for a second about Firefly, especially since a lot of my friends go every year. But then I saw the line up....and remembered there is camping. So yeah, nopeSVRDhand13 said:

I have gone every year so far and the camping makes the whole experience better! You are crazy if you don't enjoy the camping haha. But I'm not about to drop that much $$$ on this lineup.
