I just want to be able to smoke in the peace of my own home (or someone else's) - this church thing strikes me as contrived and convoluted.

"don't be a troll on the internet" - what does that even have to do with pot? And how are any of the tenets related to weed? Most of that stuff is basic common / human sense.

That said, there's a virgin bowl next to me calling my name!

Don't be a donkey hole as the first made me laugh.This reeks to me of someone who is looking for their life's calling and made a stretch to find a way to do what they really want, lead a group of people. More power to them but sometimes things like this tend to set back the legalization movement. It will only encourage religious people in other faiths to entrench more into their view points. I'm all for people worshiping what they desire but the publicity nationally on this probably isnt going to be good when FoxNews picks it up.

I have a loaded bowl waiting for later and will try and find myself. Thats my new euphemism for smoking pot. I'm going to go find myself.

All the losers with no jobs show up at the provincial legislature, smoke all day, eat all their doritos and chocolate bars, and leave a mess of litter worse than kindergarten kids. Its a disgrace, and is a complete misrepresentation of your average smoker. It just totally panders to those who are opponents of the movement.

This Church is a direct challenge to Indiana's new religious freedom law. They are throwing Pence's bullshit law back in his face.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It's not like that at the Vancouver 4/20 though, which is just a huge trade show for weed and paraphernalia, along with political-like speeches about legalization from Mark Emery's crowd (though you're not bashed over the head by it - you'd have to go and actively stand and listen if you're interested), and bands playing and stuff. It's a good deal. Way too crowded though. They need a bigger space than the downtown core.
