If this is all just to be able to fill an open roster spot on a given day, couldn't we just add a roster spot or 2 to each team?

I think the rosters are good sized...my previous desire for every day was more that I didnt want to wait when a guy got hurt or you decided to cut bait on them and toss them in the ditch to have a replacement. Additionally, it pools the bidding potentially and makes it tougher to gauge your spend.

Can't edit the roster sizes after the draft. That is something that will have to be done next year. Hopefully, most of you will play again next year and this pilot season will iron out all of the kinks.

On the league chat page, team garbage pile changed his vote to 3 times a week.

Fyi, I gave JD (team garbage pile) the link here so he can read the discussions. Obviously he can't talk here. You can reach him on the chat page or through the league email. He is active and will respond within a day.

Yeah, after further thought into this, I'd like to change my vote too from everyday to keeping it as is or adding the Friday.......giving teams the chance to gorge on pitching every weekend would blow for those of us that have been active on the waiver wire and have done so keeping in mind that having to keep some of these pitchers, we were investing in the long term because of the dent it was putting into our payroll......that being said, I like how pitching is in essence making or breaking your matchup each week because for the most part, hitting can be pretty much a wash...

There is a down side to the streaming. Most of us have had a big fat -15-20 point game from pitchers stinking up the joint. I'm not at all a fan of streaming. I don't think adding Friday would cause streaming.

When you mention the long haul, it reminds me of the keeper discussion we had earlier this year. I'm hoping, if we can keep a core of 6 or 8 of the same owners, we can make this a 2 or 3 man keeper league in the future.

    Would love to do keeper.

I asked about it before the draft and nobody seemed interested. You've got some good ones to keep.

Yeah but I did pass on Trout with pick #1. For a keeper (would need to know how many years we can keep for) a Trout or Harper might be better than a top young pitcher seeing how pitchers get hurt so much or fade away a-la Timmy Linci-crapper. We could draft next year with keepers that would be fine too.

You can't go wrong with a trout or harper or kershaw or felix. You'd have a guy that will be there for a long time.

I survived that onslaught of pitching. Hopefully my hitting can sustain.

Ok, looks like Sunday, wednesday, and Friday have it. Tomorrow I will change the ww setting to those 3 days. I hope everyone who didn't vote for this will be able to adapt. This is what I should have made it before the season. And I am hoping there won't be anymore rule changes this year.

Change made. You can now add players on sundays, wednesdays, AND Fridays. I think you guys will this option better than just the 2 days.

I just noticed that we can impose a matchup acquisition limit. That could be one of the safe guards against streaming if it becomes a problem. But I don't think it will be a problem. Especially since the players are added at 11pm and not before the games.

I'm in this F'd up situation where my starters all go on the same day. It hosed me last week in a very close match. They should all go twice this week which should help, but I'm sure rain will fuck things up and they'll only go once again
