My goal is to run three miles non-stop this year.

Does anyone else have 2015 running goals or exercise goals?

folk say i'm racist, yet i love running timed excursions!!! sheesh!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'd like to place in a 5k and the Beach to Bay relay. I'm also joining a hashers group.

Thank you! I only beat it by 13 seconds and there were only 5 women in my age bracket. It still feels great! Now I have a new goal to beat. I crossed the finish line with Got Some in my headphones. My kids videotaped me when I realized I was going to beat my goal. That few seconds of my life that is forever frozen in all its digital glory is a little embarrassing but idgaf. :-)

So... I have found the perfect place go practice for the Incline!! And with the Nueropathy spreading in my feet, I'm determined to at least have climbed Pike's Peak before I
    Lose any toes!

    I'm determined

That's more than half the battle right there.

Just had a beautiful run along the boardwalk with a full ocean view the entire time. Breathing in and out. Blue sky, bright sun, light breeze. 55 degrees. Flow. Nothing better

Just ran the annual Mother's Day 5k with my kids. Actually my oldest didn't run this year bc she didn't feel well. My 10 yo ran with her friends which really meant that she walked and talked most of the time. I ran with my 7yo son. It was his first official 5k. He did AMAZING. He's a little beast! I had to hold him back at times bc I knew he wouldn't make it if he went too hard. He/we finished at 37:11 which means we walked a little in the 2nd mile. He lost it after about a mile and a half. At that point he believed me that he needed to pace himself. We walked and I helped him gather himself. Then we ran to the end and sprinted to the finish. It was amazing seeing his little face when he crossed the finish line. He wants to do it again already! I may have created a monster! Next time he will pace himself better and run in a straight line instead of weaving back and forth. I think he actually ran at least 6k because he took the winding path!

I'm so happy for him that he's found this piece of himself at such a young age. I didn't know I'm an athlete until I was over 40yo. You have a body, you are an athlete. It's up to you to tap in. He saw that today for the first time. Powerful stuff to witness. I'm grateful.

I have begun to slowly start taking on The Incline!! I made it up about 150 stairs out of 2,744, yesterday! Whew! It kicks your ASS!! But I will do this all the way through!
Here's what I have left of it, oh and that crest??? That's the false plateau..there's another 744 stairs after that!! Lol!

    Ran a mile non-stop. Yay!

Once I reach 3 miles non-stop I'm going to Philadelphia and take a picture with the Rocky statue. It would be nice if PJ is playing there, but whatever.

My goal is to be able to run a 5K by the end of September.

Don't know if I will be able to do it as I can only run for a couple of minutes at a time, but I'm going to try my best to get there.

Just keep at it. I can't 'run' but I am
Still keeping at my goal to club that cra y staircase up the mountain.

Just go a little further each time! Good luck Marky!
