    So....I had to be at the little league fields at 11:50 for young Empty to play. Older empty, which empty coaches, has a 3:00 game. I get home at 6:00, throw football with young empty after watching the Derby, prep for local degenerates to show....watch the fights and checks email and sees a trade

    i'm all for the ability to add players more times a week, but will our budget increase?

    I dont think our budget should increase, we just dont need to wait days to fill a need. Budget it budget that was set at the start of the year and to increase the budget it to allow for people to go after the free agents aggressively each time. Sort of takes the tactical side out of the game./....like the DH! :)

    I see what youre saying and We could make it a Monday through Friday thing if we wanted to prevent streaming pitchers.

    I'm fine with even letting it be for weekends. Guy goes on DL friday night the big league club doesnt have to wait until Monday. Plus with the way pitchers get negative points if someone wants to blow FA money on a scrub starter for one start I say let them. For every time they get points 2 others they will lose points.

    I just posted this on the league home page messages:

    We currently have 2 days to pick up players off the waiver wire. When I set that, I was thinking that if we could pick players up every day, some teams would run out of FA cash by the break. Looking through what teams have used so far, I thought increasing the number of days would be appropriate it everyone wanted to. 

    However ed brought up a good point that this could just be a way of loading up on weekend starters. If teams want to increase the number of days we could go with a Monday through Friday to curb the streaming. Or just add a day and make it 3 days to pick up players. 

    I'm good with whatever everyone wants to do. The last thing I wanted to do was start a mid season controversy. I know you guys are getting sick of the polls so let's just think about this for a while before anything is done. Please post your opinions and concerns here or on the forum page.

    Is there a way to make a bid be $0 or zero? If you are increasing the number of transactions then that would still allow for strategy with your budget and allow for people to still make moves even when out of money. We do that in a football league. You get to scrape the bottom of the barrel but at least you get a replacement if someone is hurt and you have no backup.

    That would make things better IMO. You want the best free agents, spend. You want to roll the dice on some scrubs, you can with a zero bid.

    Btw Scott, you're doing a great job with this, and not too many polls at all

    I'm just not too familiar with chatting on the phone app for espn and I'm hardly ever at my PC

    I'm fine with a change, I just wanna make sure it's what we all want

    I've been spending based on the fact that this isn't a weekend grab league, but I can adapt

    I guess the question is, do we want an "everyday FA pickup" league?

    A "Sunday thru Wednesday" pickup?

    Or leave it as is?

    I'm ok with any, but that everyday is a bit more work

    You make a good point that I really didn't think of. I'm in leagues where there is no SP limit and all of a sudden, they have 6 pitchers going on sunday. I'm not a fan of that either.

    Fuck streaming and I wouldn't do that even if I had all of my money. I always have a transaction limit in my leagues....is there an option to limit the number of transactions per week? ESPN is still new to me. I hate having to wait but I also am fine if someone spends all of their money in half of the year.

    Speaking of shitting your pants, you could not have enjoyed your castoff Michael Brantley putting up big numbers against you this week...he was my best player!
    That said I had some real pitching eggs down the stretch, luckily I had built a big lead.
