That said, not much point to the concept beyond the charity aspect. It was only released on CD and for download. Really only makes any difference from the regular boots if it's on vinyl. And they have other ways to encourage charity. Just wondering I guess, since one of these two shows make me think "instant classic".I'm like an opening band for your mom.0 -
Thanks, perhaps the band could officially release the 1995 show at Soldier Field too.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:

I missed the preset, but it was in legendary fashion. I lived in DUncan, BC (on Vancouver Island). I did a cross Canada trip with one of my best friends and bookended the trip with PJ shows. We originally went to Missoula (1998) because we weren't sure we'd be back for Vancouver. We spent about 4 weeks getting to Newfoundland then funds started to dry up so we got from Newfoundland to Kamloops in 5 days. Two days before the Vancouver show. So we hung out in kamloops (interior of BC) for a few days and drive into Vancouver to catch PJ again. They release more tickets on the drive in, pulled over and ordered them on a payphone, and we got some sweet beside stage tickets. The next day I finally get home get some sleep, wake up and see my little brother in the Kitchen. First words out my mouth after being away from home for 5 weeks, "hey man do you want to go to seattle?". Before I know it were in the car racing to Victoria to see if ticketmaster has tickets. They do. Then were racing to the ferry, and then racing to Seattle. By the time we parked and got in front of the stage we had 5 minutes before PJ came on. Our timing was impeccable. It was one helluva show (the 2nd one anyways, wasn't at the first one). It was a shame we missed the openers, but that feeling of going on a whim (unlike now where it's all planned in advance) and getting there just in time. It was awesome!derbydave said:
The Memorial Stadium shows were INCREDIBLE...mwplum said:Agreed, whilst the little $0.50 pieces of paper are kind of neat, I'd prefer more live or rare tracks. Before I get flamed, what I'm saying is that I'd rather pay $150 and have it come with an additional 4 LPs that document shows in that era (selfishly hoping for the Memorial Stadium 1998!)
So glad I was there to hear Ed's pre-set "Throw Your Arms Around Me" on day 2!!
I would love to have that show on Vinyl, but to be fair there's already a soundboard bootleg out there. I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if they chose a show that doesn't have a high quality bootleg already available. '98 is still my favourite tour.

Imagine someone received one as part of the mystery vinyl. Now that would be a great marketing idea0

I'd be happy with this being announced next month, but I see this as having a better chance in 2016 now as we hit the 20th anniversary of the album. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's soon but as it's 2015 now.....I'm like an opening band for your mom.0

I'm honestly fine without anymore studio box sets. I do however love the vault releases. If they kept releasing those and doing small tours here and there, I'd be quite happy.0

10c should have lots of freed up space in the warehouse, and lots of cash from the mystery vinyl sale. This has to be next!0

I am hopeful this will make it to the goods section sometime this year, after the Spring cleaning.0
