Isn't it time to make Boom a full member?

I think he prefers his digital membership.www.cluthelee.com0

No. I think he gets a pretty fair shake as it is. I don't think he cares either.0

I might be wrong, but I don't believe he has a role in creating the music, correct? I always thought he just played with them on tour. If so, I don't think he should be a full time member.2013: Wrigley Field, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn 1, Brooklyn 2, Philly 1, Philly 2, Baltimore
2014: Cincinnati
2015: Global Citizen Festival
2016: Philly 1, Philly 2, MSG 1, MSG 2, Fenway 1, Fenway 2, Wrigley 1, Wrigley 2
2017: Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Induction

Pretty sure it's not our call.0

I'm pretty sure he had a large part in creating LBC.Agg said:I might be wrong, but I don't believe he has a role in creating the music, correct? I always thought he just played with them on tour. If so, I don't think he should be a full time member.

Is pearl jam the kind of band that needs to make official announcements? When they hired Matt it sounded temporary and he earned the gig. They never really made an official announcement it was permanent, it sort of happened... I always find it wierd when famous people need to make formal announcements of everything they do.0

His current role certainly doesn't justify him becoming a band member, and I see no reason for his role to change.
If Boom wanted to be a full band member, then he either would be by now, or would have bailed a long time ago. It's good the way it is. He seems to enjoy his gig, without all the extra work and stress of being a band member. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

Pretty sure he is happy with the arrangement lol0

many bands have touring-only "semi-members". pj is no different.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

I recall him saying in Immagine in Cornice that he just felt lucky to be able to tour with them. It seemed to me like he was saying "I don't need to deal with all the other BS", but I could be reaching with that.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

imagine, touring the world all expenses paid, playing in front of millions, and getting a cheque.HughFreakingDillon said:I recall him saying in Immagine in Cornice that he just felt lucky to be able to tour with them. Boom will probably not be a full time member. He knows what he did. :-)I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Why? Everyone is allowed their opinion. Mine just happens to be that if he becomes a full time member, we will have keys in every song. Keys have their place, but in pj, in my opinion, not much of one.pjradio said:guess this was the wrong topic to post...

Don't have a problem with Boom playing with the band but not on songs like Alive where there is no need for keys.
