Eddie recording with Mark Hoppus (blink-182)??

Taken from an Esquire interview a few months back with Mark Hoppus of Blink 182. Can't tell if he's just using Eddie as an example or if he really might be on it but I know that PJ and Blink have hung out before. I remember them saying that Ed has even given them wine advice before. Hell, parts of this site right here were designed by Tom Delonge. Anyway I hope it's true.

Tell us about your solo project Nothing And Nobody.

I’m working on it with [Blink and Nine Inch Nails engineer] Chris Holmes and possibly one or two other people. I can’t give you any clues. Until it’s confirmed I don’t want to say anything. It’s always weird when you go, “Oh yeah, Eddie Vedder’s going to be part of this” and then it comes out and he’s not part of it and everyone goes “what happened to Eddie Vedder?” It’ll be electronic mixed with guitars. It’ll be poppy and dark and weird.

    The whole Mod Life software thing was developed by his company. Used by PJ, NIN, and others.

    Eddie seems due for some kind of something, anyway. It feels like it's been a really long time since anything he's done on the side was released.

    I agree. it would have been pretty stupid of him to say "I'm not throwing out a name, and have them not work out" and then the next sentence reveal who he was talking about.

    You can't tell if he's just using Eddie as an example or if he really might be on it??? Really?? REALLY??? He's not saying the "possibly one or two other people" on it BECAUSE he doesn't want people to wonder if they don't make it on. That's why he jokes "Eddie Vedder's going to be a part of this." You really can't tell if he's using Eddie as an example?

    U never know. I read it as probably something in the past that didnt work out but i threw it out here in case anyone had any knowledge. Theyve known eachother for a while. Id love to see it happen.
