kce, I admire your kindness and commitment.

Taking it easy here this morning, rainy outside, heat on inside and some Golden Girls. Hope to get into some good music later on.

    Have a good morning, all.

Wow... hedonist, so nice words...thank you so much!:hug::smiley:

Well, if I think I am in a difficult situation now, then how must this poor people feel after all what they had to pass through? ....
I just hope not only one of us will ever have to experience things like they do! But they have survived...and it´s now on us to give them a little peace and offer some safeness now. It´s not so much I personally can do, just little things.

So I will get myself a small cocktail and one or two episodes of `Lost´ !
But before ...and maybe after that haha...

Here´s one of my all time favorites... I just love it...
For all you good people in PJ world...

    Brian.Very tasty nugget there.thx
Time for some Dinosaur JR when at the gym later. Now it's a must.
What sweet tone he pulled when he kicked into distortion.Heck of a player. His sound really dials me in to those" Grunge" Days.Distinctive.To me anyway.

For sure, rr! I'm mesmerized every time I watch and and listen to J. play on the video. It amazes me that I had somehow missed out on listening to Mascis and Dino all these years. Definitely a fan these days!

Brian,I did just as I said and rocked out some Dino JR. weird thing it morphed into Mudhoney,Screeming Trees and the Afghan Whigs and wrapped up with Sunny Day Real Estate.Strange how it felt like a natural progression. But thx for lighting that fuse.

Good show, rr! I had to drive down to Folsom today on business and rocked out to Dino's Farm the whole way. Here's a teaser:

So from music to film - flipping channels and indulging in Indica, I happened upon Being There.

I always loved Sellers, but as Chauncey Gardner? My god, what a sweet man. He made up for Shirley MacLaine being in it (I kid, I kid!).

He had such a face, such eyes.

My dad would always have us watch Being There with him.He loved it.Sellers plays Gardner the simpleton so well.
I got sucked into Goldie Hawns vortex last night by watching Overboard with Goldie/Kurt Russel.Always thought the plot was entertaining for a RomCom.Knowing the were married made it better.I didn't mean to keep watching but much like a Drew Barrymore(A modern day Goldie?)movie, I couldn't bring myself to change the channel.

Your dad sounds like a good man, rr...much like mine!

So I had to reverse from film to music.

Man o'man, there's nothing like this drugmix of instrument + voice + I don't even know what. But it's silken and warm.

Here's one of those nifty little bits synchronicity:

My wife says to me today, "Nancy was telling me about this really great movie we should see."
"Oh yeah? Which one is that?"
"Umm, I don't remember but it has Peter Sellers in it."
    "Was it 'Being There'?"
"Yes! That's it! I've never seen it before. Is it good?"
"Oh yeah! It's great! I'll put it on our queue!"

    Haha! Fantastic!

Eddie Money! He played a small outside gig when my husband worked at LA's version of the twin towers...right in the walkthrough space between the two buildings. It was kind of an odd place to perform, actually.
