Ok I have to tell you this story.. My really good friend suffered a triple hernia surgery and was down for like six weeks. So I moved in to do all the household chores errands, etc that she no longer could. And her adult son and his girlfriend had moved back home. So I'm in the living room folding laundry and watching Animal Planet on their 80" screen tv... And Jaime and Samantha get home. So Samantha just grabs the remote, and changes the channel to watch the show where Kim and her sister apparently own and run a store in New York?? Ok so.. I of course throw a fit, cause, umm.. Fucking RUDE!! To no avail...friend vs. Family.. So I'm kinda stuck watching this stupid garbage.. And I with great exasperation ask.. Why the fuck are these people even famous?? What are they famous for??? Are they of any type of value? Do they DO anything? And I swear to GOD!! Her answer was as follows: " They're famous cause they're SMART, and they took advantage of being really pretty, and they used that to build the equity to buy this shop.. And people are interested in their lives, so they made this show to share their wisdoms with the world."
