    If just more people weren't lazy about the news they watch and think is real, we wouldn't have to remind O'Reilly and Fox News how out of line they are with real journalistic integrity.

    O'Reilley and Fox NEVER think they fail. That's how disillusioned both are. Watching interviews of Jon Stewart and O'Reilley verifies that. You can tell Jon wants to tear his own hair out because being reasonable with the likes of O'Reilley is simply inconceivable.

    One problem; The O'Reilly Factor is political commentary...not objective reporting.

    This is like calling a carrot a bad vegetable for not adhering to the principals of broccoli.

    I have no doubt FOX news, MSNBC, CNN or any cable news station is more interested in ratings than content. But if you're going to call them out, you've got to make sure you do it using proper examples, or else it just comes across as being naive about the topic at hand.

    I agree with you. The problem with fox is that their two prime time shows (O'Reilly and Megan Kelly) think they are objective when reporting news. They think their opinions are facts.

    They do (edit!!! in terms of responsibility, not taking the words of blind melons as gospel). Well, I do, since I can only speak for myself. Can't limit this only to Fox programming, it's all over the place. I use common sense and gut when seeing this all, these reports.

    Not bragging at all, but I'm pretty comfortable with my level of intelligence and grasp on things.

    but they portray it as "reporting". you don't see this kind of trash from any other news outlet, regardless of how partisan.
