    Its long overdue that the team is starting to realize (and call out) the fact that B. Coburn is pretty bad at times, especially for someone with his size.
    A loss vs NJ tonight will be a doozy. This team just is not good.
    Those kevlar socks likely saved Girouxs season, and he is actually probable for tonight.

    the only hope for this franchise is the 3 young defensemen in the minors and juniors along with Stolarz. unfortunately that is probably 2-3 years out for them being fruitful NHL players. could be a long few years.

    Jagr is a better forward than anyone on our team not named Giroux or Voracek, The guy can still play at a high level.

    I like the direction that hextall is taking the franchise (build the farm system, eliminate bad contracts like hartnell), but it's going to take a long time to get rid of the terrible contracts that they're stuck with (umberger, macdonald, lecavalier). <br />

    Not good times...hopefully they can start dumping trash at the trade deadline. And the cap goes up substantially more next offseason than it did this year.
