Pj 20 question

Pj20 is on. Near the beginning there is a black and white scene of Ed by a fire where he says he's the new kid in Seattle. They have one of those boards with writing on it where you snap it closed and say action. It says the title is "2nd comming" spelled that way. But the weird part is that the date says 11/8/86. Can this actually be the date? That doesn't make sense to me, or is there something I am totally missing?

I have a picture of the board, but can't figure out how to post it on here.

    I don't think so. When I just rewatched the clip, Eddie says , "in Seattle I feel like, I'm kind of the new kid. And I'm I'll be the new kid for awhile."

    So, do you think the dates on the action board are just off?

    It also says the scene is being shot as interior.. I think it may be an old CC project snap

    Don't they edit that stuff out for the actual video, so if it's shown it's actually a prop?

    Yes. It is generally only used in leader clips, for the purpose of editing. That's part of what makes me think it may be from CC's last work sets. As a director, he would normally keep sets of these. But you're right, if you're seeing it on a film, it's a prop.
