ANOTHER cop shooting close to ferguson

  • Did anyone read any of the comments under the original story posted in the link? The majority of the initial comments were trying to discredit the video and presenting alternative theories to what seems to have now been accepted.

People were suggesting the guy was simply pointing at the cop, while others were suggesting the gun was a nondescript item.

The level of distrust or paranoia is truly disconcerting. Its becoming- if it hasn't already- lose-lose for cops.

I wonder if that mindset will have any bearing if/when body cameras become the norm.

Didn't read the comments but if the guy indeed only pointed at the cop...why would he or any rational person do that? I can't profess to know the mindset of anyone there, but if I'm instructed to do something by an officer in that kind of situation, I'm doing it. Definitely not pointing at those giving me the directions.

It's almost like willfull blindness, deafness.

Perhaps he assumed the cop would think it was a toy gun and therefore just taze him.
