These guys opened a bunch of shows for PJ back in 2003. I was lucky enough to catch them 3 times during that tour. Really dug the sound and bought the current album, The Remote Part. Loved it. I've pretty much listened to everything before and after that album.

These guys never disappoint. Great to see them back after a long hiatus. There latest album, Everything Ever Written, will be coming out next year. It will be crowdfunded. They are selling signed cd's and vinyl at relatively modest prices. Check it out!!

    I couldn't agree more with your excitement. I saw them four times in '03 with Pearl Jam and they rocked it. They Roddy solo albums are great and the other side projects are pretty good as well.
    I'm really hoping the album goes back a bit to the Make A New World sound. Post Electric Blues was kind of a let down.

    Interesting that you didn't like Post Electric Blues...I thought it was great. Make a New World was good too, but I felt it had a sort of subdued tone to it. Anyway, its good to know I'm not the only one who was sold on this band as a result of the PJ tour.

    Love Idlewild. Must be in double figures seeing them. Looking forward to the new album next year. Great band
