LOL I would love to do all that but I would risk a special torture if I don't present things as expected. If I have to do this again next year I WILL jump out a window.

I have to do mashed sweet potatoes with the marshmallows on top which is one of my biggest concerns cuz I have never used a hand mixer in my life and I have to. I've only ever mashed potatoes with a fork.

Well that's not cool if you can't just cook things how you want to.
As for the hand mixer just make sure the beaters are on the bottom of the bowl and start at the low speed and slowly work your way up. Otherwise you will wear the yams for dinner and if they're hot that's gonna sting.

    Good luck with everything.

    With a mixer?
I'm using something like this. But I love when there are clumps in there...

A handmixer is easy to handle. Just don't go with top speed when you just dive in. You'll get a feel for it.
Boil the taters, put some butter in milk, slightly warm it in the microwave or on the stove, pour it in, mash up a storm, add a pinch of nutmeg, pepper and salt, bam. I'm not so sure about the marshmallows. That sounds kinda gross. I would put freshly chopped parsley and chives in there. Or pieces of roasted garlic. Mmmmmh.

EDIT: I just saw it's sweet mashed potatoes. I have no experiences with that. Hm. Does it taste like pumpkin a bit? Still, the marshmallows gross me out. Take pics!

Best of luck for you tomorrow! Stay sane, get drunk - you can do it :D

Yes they do but nothing is as bad as Mars Volta....they made we want to never hear again and hope for a brain injury so that I could forget that I had ever heard them....but still retain the knowledge that they suck rotting monkey balls.

    Dear God no.

It's not very attractive on men either, particularly in abundance. A little bit of fine/thin/light hair isn't a deal breaker, but a good rule of thumb is always "less is more"
