I went to see Halestorm,(Great live btw)New medicine and a new all chick band The Dead Deads on sat night at an intimate rock club in Ft.Lauderdale- Club Revalution .All hail from Nashville and put on a great and extremely (gloriously)loud hard rock show. I wanted to invite the loungers who partake in the heavier stuff to check them (The Dead Deads)out.Very 90s grungy and raw.Not over produced. They really got my attention. No,not just the outfits. They are like the raunchy love child of Veruca Salt and the Melvins.Tell me what ya think.A real throw back to that great 90s groove we all dig.

Brian,You got me thinking yesterday when you brought up "Grand Nephew".I never really think along those lines when it comes to my nieces having kids.I think at least in our family my nieces will have kids before my grown children will.So I better get used to the term. Thanks for just another reminder I am aging quicker then I thought.0

As long as my reminder doesn't make you old before your time, rr! ;-)rr165892 said:Brian,You got me thinking yesterday when you brought up "Grand Nephew".I never really think along those lines when it comes to my nieces having kids.I think at least in our family my nieces will have kids before my grown children will.So I better get used to the term. Thanks for just another reminder I am aging quicker then I thought.
Last night my wife and I were talking about the ironies of aging. As we get up into the years, we gain so much from our experiences and life lessons yet at the same time, our bodies begin to fail us so that sometimes putting that gained knowledge and wisdom to good use becomes more challenging. I suppose the compensation is in learning how to push a little harder. Hack or pack!
Speaking of my wife and I- we celebrate our 10th anniversary today and tomorrow! My step-daughter didn't want to go with us to Benbow for our wedding so we got unofficially married here in the living room. Our electrician was at the house doing some work and I grabbed him and asked him to be my best man. The next day, the 23rd, we drove up to Benbow and were officially married again.
