Love that Corduroy opens; it fits anywhere in a set but is also a great opener. Unfortunately this one is a little error-strewn. Hail Hail and Animal seem to be lacking abit of punch. Fortunately, Brain Of J is right on the money. Light Years, Untitled/MFC, Habit and Nothing As It Seems are all great performances and a nice run. Black....I swear this is one of the best versions I've heard. Immense. I Got ID is another highlight off the back of Grievance. Alive closes the main set.

Last Kiss opens the first encore backed by Better Man. It's another superb performance of Sleight Of Hand. Daughter and Rearviewmirror are excellent performances. Porch closes the encore. Ed returns to the stage for Soon Forget. The rest of the guys come back for one more - the first performance of Indifference since MSG II '98.

A fun boot to listen too.

Newcastle 2006, definitely one of my top 10 favorites.

#19 Verona '00 (Ape/Man)

Opening for the final time on the Euro tour is a sumptuous Long Road. Of the three times played on this Euro tour, this would rate as my favourite. Grievance, Corduroy and Hail Hail really set the tempo earlier on though Ed forgets lyrics on both Grievance and Hail Hail. Pilate is probably my least favourite of it's Euro '00 appearances. Given To Fly doesn't shine either and Ed again forgets lyrics, this time early in Even Flow. MFC and Habit is a decent combo. Daughter is fantastic and Ed tags in Beck's "Beautiful Way". I really love the sound of Daughter from this tour. State Of Love And Trust feels like it has an extra groove, all of the band on form here. Immortality is the highlight of the final songs from the main set for me.

Ed does a little improv called In The Coliseum at the start of the first encore before Black properly starts it off. After ok performances of Breakerfall and Do The Evolution, the tempo drops with Small Town. As Better Man ends, the band goes into Split Enz's "I Got You", performing it for the first time. It works really well off the back of Better Man. Porch closes the first encore.

Ed comes back out for a rendition of Soon Forget with the rest of the guys returning to close the show with Yellow Ledbetter.

I felt there was more wrong with this one than right. Some good performances but some sketchy performances too, especially from Ed. That said, it's clear the band enjoyed it.
