There is no download code with CD....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

Don't think so. It was given with the last year bootleg box set because there was a gap from when we orderd to when they were actually shipping. If I remembr correctly0

Agreed, but since the CDs are shipped from Nugs (aka a third party), I bet they can't...something to do with the back-end ordering/invoice system, I bet. Sort of hard to explain, but I bet they've tried to consider it.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
they had a system that was beyond awesome in 2003. i'm not sure what has happened0

If that is truly the reason then Pearl Jam, as the customer in this case, should demand that their supplier, Nugs in this case, figure out how to offer a link so that CD purchasers can download.Lost In Ohio said:2-feign-reluctance said:They should change this

Here's a simple solution though... if you buy a hard copy CD you get a download code, just like the one we get annually, except that it will only work for the digital version of the CD you purchased. I can't imagine that their software is incapable of this as the infrastructure is already capable of distinguishing things in the cart at checkout. I.e. if I apply the code and try to buy a tshirt it "knows" that the tshirt is not a digital download and it makes you pay. Differentiating a tshirt from a particular CD would seem to be trivial.

Or you could get this download code with your shipping confirmation from Nugs!
Thinking about 4 weeks of waiting for the Bootleg CD`s this would really make sence.0 -
in the old days we appreciated less, more often
we got it so good now. its c r a z y0 -
Would be great if they did. I mean it doesn't have to be 320kbps or V0 extreme Lame encoded high end quality MP3's. Just a 192kbps MP3 would do fine. When a CD has been purchased, customers would receive via email a direct download link for the MP3 download. Or they could do what Thom Yorke did for his latest album. http://blog.bittorrent.com/2013/11/18/introduction-to-bittorrent-bundle/ go the Torrent route for these MP3's. Someday I hope Pearl Jam offers something like this down the road. Especially for Vault DVD / Blu-rays! O:-)2-feign-reluctance said:They should change this
