The fuck? I was reading some other threads, feeling kind of, I don't know...soft. Vulnerable.
Then THIS? Might have to crown you for the ultimate segue, rr.
And now that you've opened the door wide open! Please bring on the sticks on toast, with bit of American melted (nothing against the Swiss but I don't get their putting holes in the cheese. WHY? Balance it out with your watches and chocolate) and 1000 island dressing and lots of lettuce.0 -
The gourmet palette never rests. What better venue to share such wisdom on a Sat night then the lounge. And yes Hedo American cheese would have been my go to here but since I rarely eat like this the fridge was kinda out of choices. But I did mix my ketchup and mayo and made a special sauce(1000island).Im with ya there.
Wifey crashed out during the cooking process(it was her idea) so I ate both of our servings..Very satisfying I must say.0 -
Ha! I've mixed ketchup and mayo in pinch too.
We tried an edible last night...one-eighth each of a 2x2 piece of fudge. Tasted more like weed than chocolate and for good reason - damn strong!
(hence my odd reference to Switzerland's chocolate and Dali's melting watches...the fuck?!)

They are making them damn near dangerous nowadays! They are using whole bud and even condensates now and it blows the trimmins away! You gotta be careful lolhedonist said:Ha! I've mixed ketchup and mayo in pinch too.

I bought some local Shagbark Hickory Syrup, and Jalapeño Lime Syrup today...oh yeah can't wait till I get the munchies bad enough to tap into those natural goodnesses.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
At the onset, I figured we'd be taking more in thirty minutes or so. But, after about an hour, my husband said "you must be feeling it because you haven't spoken for the last half hour". Nor had he
Local syrup! Sounds delicious. I don't use it often but when I do, it's Mrs. B. Not kosher, I know.0 -
I have some every few days when I have local syrup, maple in the spring hickory in the fall. I quit buying artificial syrups a couple years ago. I eat my share of processed food, I'm no whole food nut, but I am a total syrup snob lol

You all are making this guy want pancakes in a bad way.0

If pancakes, waffles and maple syrup were as healthy a food as carrots and apples I would eat them seven times a week instead of just six. :-D
(But actually, my pancakes are fairly healthy. I start with Arrowhead Mills Buttermilk pancake mix, add organic ground golden flax meal, organic quick oats and toss in some organic cornbread mix with organic blueberries, eggs and vanilla rice milk. Oh man, is it morning get!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

Ok question for you folks. What is the best natural liver and kidney detox.I am doing a 72 hr no drinking,no sugar,no simple carb blast to refresh the inner organs.Organic cranberry juice non concentrate, lots of distilled water,3xa day a little apple cider vinegar, artichoke hearts.......What am I missing?I picked up some dandelion, which I was told works on cleaning the filter out.
Anyone have some good input here?Appreciate it guys.0 -

I read that Milk Thistle (generally comes in 250 mg caps) is good for eliminating toxins from the body. I take one a day. Also for flushing kidneys, corn silk tea (very mild flavor) is said to be helpful.rr165892 said:Ok question for you folks.

Interesting that you're doing a detox, rr. I'm working my way into what I hope is at least 2 to 4 weeks of something similar. I've had no alcohol and only one cup of decaf coffee in the last week and am moving into a mostly organic juice/fruit/vegetable diet for a while- but not being too anal about it. A little protein, occasional organic corn tortillas, an egg now and then but mostly live food vegi stuff.
