Security: sit on the floor!
Speedy: ok asshole, but your gonna need a crane to get me back up. And I havent crossed my legs in 30 years. .....prick!

Surely they didn't actually force people to get down on the floor though??? I have seen security NOT allow people to sit on the floor in the pit many times for safety reasons.... but i can't imagine they can force everyone to sit on the floor, lol! With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. I moved to Seattle and I smoke everywhere even though smoking marijuana is illegal in public the Seattle police have decided to spend their time actually pursuing real criminals, and they issue several warnings before ever even writing a ticket for it and the smell of marijuana is no longer probable cause, so Seattle is even greener now

they did MAKE us sit crossed legged on the floor of the arena!!
Why would I make up something like that up??
We were told to "hit the deck" & then not 10 minutes later,
they told us all to get back on our feet!!
I don't know why...
someone else posted about the reason earlier in this thread,
Maybe they could tell us what the security people told them!!
It was the most unusual procedure I've ever experienced at an event.

I can attest to that horrendous, nonsensical behavior by the venue security toward the GA folks. After waiting 4 hours in GA line out in the cold, wind, and rain, I was so disappointed to find that the venue security didn't respect the integrity of the line. My ticket buddy & I anticipated being at most 2 people deep from the rail, given our spot in line. After being herded into the pens indoors, and following directions . . . "you WILL NOT" run, "you WILL" walk single file, "you will walk in an orderly fashion like little DUCKLINGS!" . . , we ended up farther back than we deserved to be. And we saw people who were way behind us in line that on the floor were in front of us near the rail.
That security guy missed his calling . . . he'd make a great prison guard. And then the "sit on the floor", and "get back up" a few minutes later . . . it was truly offensive. Fortunately we did end up with a good sight line to the stage in front of Mike.0 -

I wonder if the Ten Club/band is aware of this ludicrous treatment of their fans?derbydave said:I'm surprised no one has mentioned the way the venue personnel royally screwed up the GA line by placing us in the "Holding Pens" like ANIMALS!!
And then had the nerve to talk to us like we were children & told to enter the GA area like little ducks in a row AND then when we finally made it out on the floor, they MADE everyone sit cross legged on the ground!!
We're PEOPLE folks...not your herd of CATTLE!!!

I'm sure they have no idea about this. People should send their complaints to the venue's customer service office. Sounds like their security were treating their guests more like detainees.QuarterToTen said:

The thing that was insane to me about the venue was the lack of organization for Ten C ticket pick up. It is probably my own fault for arriving so close to show time, but that was AWFUL. I have always picked up my tickets early, so maybe it is horrible everywhere the closer you get to show time. As far as the merch goes, they need to seriously limit the number of items each person can purchase. Maybe no more than two of the same design when it comes to t-shirts, two posters, etc. The rumor of the man who bought fifty posters at that show is ridiculous, that should not be allowed. I am not sure if there is a "bring back the poster limit" thread, but there should be.Hearts and thoughts they fade....
fade away...
I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.0 -
