Eighty?!? I was inside frantically looking for a poster fifteen minutes after doors opened and there were none to be found.0 -

If you're impatient and don't want to wait until the ten club puts them on their site. I personally couldn't pay that much on principle, knowing that the person I'm paying to is the exact reason I couldn't get one at the show to begin with, but it's up to you since it's your money.0 -

And your info makes a conversation I had with one vendor make a little more sense. After checking 4 other booths, I asked "Any chance you've got any left here?"
He answers "Nope, all booths are sold out by now."
I said "Probably because the vendors are selling 5 and 6 copies to people" and he has the NUTSACK to say "Nope, only one per person." I say "Yeah, you know that, and I know that. But they obviously don't." He starts a fight with me! Insists the "one per person" thing some more. I'm like, "I saw it with my own damn eyes!!" He really was adamant. Fucking jerk probably bought 10 himself. ARRGGGHH!!*Rock and/or Roll!*0 -
I got shut out as well. I got in earlier tonight then I did on Thursday (when I did get one) and didn't get one. This is getting out of hand.0

WTF?????
This is something 10c or Pearl Jam should look into!! If you can´t trust the people at the merch boohts how will you ever stop this insane scalping (if you can use that word about posters)?
I thought that the people in the merch booths were people travelling with the band but obviously not...
Stop making the posters available at the venues then, so true fans can get to them on a website or 10c!'00: London, Roskilde

I was the 4th person in line at door B to get in and didn't get a poster at the first booth. I think only 10 people did at that booth. Granted each of those 10 asked for 4 posters each and got them. Then I ran to booth 2 where the only reason I got one was because the jerk next to me, after buying 6, told the merch guy to get him another one because it was smudged and he wouldn't be able to sell it on ebay. So I was like, "hey, don't put that back, I'll take it!!!!" So when I bought it, the ebay guy was all pissed cause there were no other posters to replace his 'smudged' one. There's a little paint on the M in Pearl Jam. Jesus christ.
But yeah, they were gone in seconds it seems.9/24/96, 6/14/98, 9/18/98, 8/3/00, 9/1/00, 9/4/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/12/03, 7/14/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/1/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 9/19/05, 9/30/05, 10/03/05, 5/13/06, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/1/06, 6/3/06, 6/19/08, 6/20/08, 6/24/08, 6/25/08, 8/7/08 (Eddie solo)0 -
i've always said they should do a presale on the 10C website or make it an option for those people who buy 10C tickets for a specific show to pre-order the poster for that show. I understand they don't want to produce 5000 of the poster because then the value goes down, but it's supply and demand here. If 3000 people are clamoring for a poster, why don't they print 3000. They don't reap the benefits of the value rising, it's the people who own them. If they want to print 3000 pre-ordered posters at $25-$30 a pop, that would bring in an amazing chunk of change. Then they can sell some at the venues too and us 10Clubbers would be able to chill out instead of going crazy trying to get these things.9/24/96, 6/14/98, 9/18/98, 8/3/00, 9/1/00, 9/4/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/12/03, 7/14/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/1/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 9/19/05, 9/30/05, 10/03/05, 5/13/06, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/1/06, 6/3/06, 6/19/08, 6/20/08, 6/24/08, 6/25/08, 8/7/08 (Eddie solo)0

October22 wrote:fastest sellout ever. people were buying them by the dozen (literally). they were selling them a half our before doors opened. if you walked into the venue to get your 10C ticket there was a stand there. my friend bought 8 fucking posters. i bought four myself but gave three to the three dudes i want to the show with.
Any chance he'll be as kind as you were? I REALLY need one of these.

Wow that is totally out of control! If I got up to the stand and asked for a poster and they said "sorry all sold out" after the guy in front of me bought more then 1 (let alone 8 or more...fuck!), I think I would actually punch him in the face, stuff $20 in his pocket and take my poster. Help him up, and say 'thanks'.
In the Goods section there were posters available for the Canada 05 tour but if you didn't notice it within the day it was posted you wasn't gonna get it. They sold out pretty fast except one...if my memory serves me right. I only got a couple cause my debit card didn't have the loot right then and there. We can only hope this will be the case somewhere down the line for this current tour.Tell the captain 'This boats not safe and we're drowning.'
Turns out he's the one making waves0 -
I went to four different stands. I was also 10th in one of the lines at Gate A to begin with, but I didn't find it hard to get them. I got one at one booth and the merch guys only sold 2 at the most per person that I saw. I then went to a second booth where they only had 30, then I ran a lil ways and got to one where they sold out while I was in line, and finally ran to another booth by Gate C or D where they had a 150 or so and easily got one. I only got two b/c I'm trading for a DC 06 and then a Borgata 2 05.2005: Borgata 2, Philly

I was told that there were fans walking out of the box office with posters atound 5 or 530. I think many of them made their way over there. This was a fast sellout though- I was the 6th person on line to get in, I ran to the merch booth, got my poster pretty quickly, and they were gone 10 seconds after I got mine.0
-
Yeah, they were selling them before the doors opened. That's probably why they went so fast. They were letting a few people inside the doors at a time to pick up tickets, and there was a table set up. I got one at about 6.0

I got posters to 4 of the 5 shows I went to, got shut out last night. What a joke. I saw people walking out with their 10C tix and 10 posters in hand, while everyone else wasn't being let in. Obviously the band nor anyone else seems to care.0

grrrrrr
I am to the point that I wish they no longer produce posters for shows anymore OR they just sell them to 10 Club members via the website and not at the shows. Over the past couple of years, the poster fetish has gotten out of control...with making money being the root of it all.Charlotte(10-4-96)
