I like your list. During the tour, I felt like the following shows surpassed Milan, but now I start to feel like the Milan show is kind of overlooked. I find myself listening to it very often. Opening Release with 60.000 crowd is goosebumps and IMO, it is one of the best performances.YLed2 said:I've made it through the first 5 boots of the European tour in the past week or so. Anyone else having problems with the MK download link? Once I clicked on it a message popped-up, asking me to activate a vulnerable Java plugin. Even when I did it, the download process did not start. :-?Athens 2006 / Milton Keynes 2014 / London 1&2 2022 / Seattle 1&2 2024 / Dublin 2024 / Manchester 2024 / New Orleans 20250

Anyone out there go to vienna and leeds, do we have a winner for best show yet, probably unfair of me all the euro shows appear to have been pretty special to everyone. Just cant get away from leeds show everytime I put boot on i'm bouncing round the fuckin room. I thought RVM at Dam show in 2012 was special but i think they topped it yet again. Stockholm 2014, the flow of the main set is great and it just sounds great to my ears! Black-Go-Animal-MYM-Corduroy-LB is just an epic run!
I enjoyed Leeds a bit more at the show but for me the boot just sounds a bit off...and the absence of The Real Me is a bit of a bummer0

I'm currently reliving my second show ever, Milton Keynes. Brilliant sound, awesome crowd and the band was, as always, spot-on. Now what about these sequences?
 1) Go -> Brain of J -> Comatose - Save You -> Hail, Hail -> Mind Your Manners -> Do The Evolution -> Got Some
 2) Lightning Bolt - Nothing As It Seems -> Given To Fly -> Sirens
 3) Let The Records Play -> Spin The Black Circle
& 4) Yellow Moon -> I'm The Answer -> Footsteps -> Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns -> Better Man
I love it when these thematically runs happen! They always lead to a setlist with a natural flow. Very cohesive. That set totally compensated me for not hearing Ghost. Oh, and how classy of them to play all these Punk-Rock / fast / up-tempo songs at the birthplace of Punk (England) on a perfect summer night. That was all I was hoping for: A real summer feast. Thank you gentlemen!

I thought "I'm The Answer" broke up the encore when at the gig so I'm interested to see how it is on the boot. Hopefully should get a chance to listen to it in the coming days - did manage to listen to Chloe/Crown and that was just beautiful!Pap said:I'm currently reliving my second show ever, Milton Keynes. I think Detroit (Iggy and the Stooges) and New York (Ramones) might disagree with you there.Pap said:Oh, and how classy of them to play all these Punk-Rock / fast / up-tempo songs at the birthplace of Punk (England) on a perfect summer night.

Trust me Boyo, it was at the right time and place. You will also say so, once you have a listen to the boot. Perfectly situated considering that it was the one song which replaced Ghost in the setlist.boyo79 said:I thought "I'm The Answer" broke up the encore when at the gig so I'm interested to see how it is on the boot.
It's true. I should have expressed it differently. Punk kind of started in the UK and US at the same time. To be honest, whenever I hear the word Punk first Sex Pistols and The Clash, and then Ramones come in mind. Iggy Pop & The Stooges totally skipped my mind. That's probably because for me, they are more associated with the Garage Rock scene of the 1970s.lolobugg said:I think Detroit (Iggy and the Stooges) and New York (Ramones) might disagree with you there.

but I forgot to mention the MC5 and New York Dolls
we Yanks are pretty proud of our punk/garage bands
as we couldn't hold a candle to all of the British Explosion Bands of the 60slivefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446 1995- New Orleans, LA : New Orleans, LA 1996- Charleston, SC 1998- Atlanta, GA: Birmingham, AL: Greenville, SC: Knoxville, TN 2000- Atlanta, GA: New Orleans, LA: Memphis, TN: Nashville, TN 2003- Raleigh, NC: Charlotte, NC: Atlanta, GA 2004- Asheville, NC (hometown show) 2006- Cincinnati, OH 2008- Columbia, SC 2009- Chicago, IL x 2 / Ed Vedder- Atlanta, GA x 2 2010- Bristow, VA 2011- Alpine Valley, WI (PJ20) x 2 / Ed Vedder- Chicago, IL 2012- Atlanta, GA 2013- Charlotte, NC 2014- Cincinnati, OH 2015- New York, NY 2016- Greenville, SC: Hampton, VA:: Columbia, SC: Raleigh, NC : Lexington, KY: Philly, PA 2: (Wrigley) Chicago, IL x 2 (holy shit): Temple of the Dog- Philly, PA 2017- ED VED- Louisville, KY 2018- Chicago, IL x2, Boston, MA x2 2020- Nashville, TN 2022- Smashville 2023- Austin, TX x2 2024- Baltimore 0
