Giants picked up my buddy from middle and high school, Jerome Cunningham, at tight end! I hope he impresses the team enough that they keep him on the roster for the season.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Sad listening to David Wilson. Thought he could have been a good player. Possibly better than good.I miss igotid880

That's always fun. Lived in like a 6 bedroom house in college and one of the guys I lived with was drafted by the Eagles and briefly played for the Chiefs. He and I didnt really get along though.Newch91 said:Giants picked up my buddy from middle and high school, Jerome Cunningham, at tight end! Starting to feel pretty awful about this season. I feel like everything that can go wrong, has so far.0

Better to look bad now. The backups are doing okay. But it's against other backups.I miss igotid880

Please, let's not have the season end before Columbus Day. It's bad enough that I don't if the Yankees will make it, but if the Giants start to play awful, I'll have to wait a month for UConn basketball to begin. I like my football for four months, not a month and a half.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

apparently madden has gotten a lot more realistic in the 6 or 7 years since i last played. it now features "manning face."

Do they also show him raising 2 Super Bowl MVP trophies? The Juggler said:apparently madden has gotten a lot more realistic in the 6 or 7 years since i last played. it now features "manning face."

cliff--meant to ask you guys this.....how do you look back at the coughlin/manning era as a whole? i mean obviously there are 2 sb's and not many other franchises in history can say that, in that time frame.
but to me, it's kind of weird in that i never felt they were a dominant team throughout a season. i think they represent the new parity driven nfl more so than any other team in that if you're playing your best football at the end of the year and get in, anything can happen....www.myspace.com0 -
They've had some really good players. But they were either injured or didn't play to their full potential at times. And there were probably a handful of games we lost because our kicker couldn't kick a 30 yarder. The Juggler said:cliff--meant to ask you guys this.....how do you look back at the coughlin/manning era as a whole? i mean obviously there are 2 sb's and not many other franchises in history can say that, in that time frame.

you know what i mean though, right? like heading into a season, i never looked at the giants like world beaters, but yet they have 2 lombardi's in the last 6 years or so. in contrast, i look back on the parcel days and remember feeling the exact opposite of that era but the result was the same. just think it's weird.igotid88 said:

also--nice move trading your kicker instead of cutting him, so the eagles couldn't have claimed him off waivers. you bastards!www.myspace.com0 -
I don't disagree, but I love this era for obvious reasons. Don't need to be the favorites, just win it all. People were calling for Coughlin's head half way through the season the first time they won.The Juggler said:cliff--meant to ask you guys this.....how do you look back at the coughlin/manning era as a whole? i mean obviously there are 2 sb's and not many other franchises in history can say that, in that time frame.

That said. Those two games are two of my favorite games ever.0
