It all started a few years ago when a bunch of people on the old forum chipped in and bought Demetrios a PJ/RHCP 1991 poster as a Christmas present – basically a way of saying thank you to everything he does for everyone on the forum. Following D, others including myself, arq, ZiggyStar, mfc2006, dimitrispearljam, elwayvedder, Tuolumne Mama (and Little Dirty Tom), Black Diamond (and sons), Chime, Leeze, PJ-Cubs, nothingman203, SuzieMay, LarsK13, barger395, Hoosiers, JimmyV, and most recently PJ_Soul have all been graciously awarded their holy grails. I know there has been more, but I don’t have the records of those – sorry.

Well, it's that time again, and the next recipient is………jjflash. Many of you know him and are aware of how much he gives back to this community, so please consider donating to help his achieve his holy grail.

This is what we are going after:

1. RED Lightning Bolt Vinyl (Replacement Vinyl - in GREAT condition)

2. Yield Vinyl (Sealed or in very good condition)

3. Lost Dogs Vinyl (Sealed or in very good condition)

4. Any Ed guitar picks before Ed Ved Batman or the Tom Tomorrow Collection (i.e. Evil Knieval, Light Bulbs, Wave, Surfboard, ect…)

5. Donation to Hope for Gabe, also know as H4G http://www.hopeforgabe.org

In jjflash’s own words about why the charity is so important to him:

Hope for Gabe (http://www.hopeforgabe.org), also known as H4G. Gabe is an awesome 9YO who suffers from Duchenne's, a cruel and fatal disease. We've gotten to know Gabe thru my oldest son who is good buddies w/ one of his older brothers. There's currently a cross country bike ride (http://www.ride4gabe.com) to raise awareness and money for Duchenne's research. Two riders started in Astoria, Oregon and are biking to Mobile, AL. A couple of buddies and I are attempting a 103-mile mountain bike race in the mountains of Colorado in less than three weeks (crazy, I know) and are wearing H4G jerseys on his behalf. Not quite sure how my near-sea-level-ass is going to hold up in the altitude of CO....ha!

We will not be able to purchase all of the above items, but we do plan on donating as much as possible to H4G.
