YOUR SHOWS RANKED!

I was bored at work and started ranking my 21 shows for about the millionth time and came here to start a thread but found this one, so here goes. I would justify my picks but it took long enough doing this much. I will say the 1995 DC was my first and is the only reason it's as high as it is. I didn't try to go strictly by setlist or anything, though it inevitably helped distiniguish shows from the same tour.

It would have been a lot cooler if an actual fan won the Amsterdam 2012 contest, and not a long time friend of the band...eddiec said:

Would it? I'm not sure if the AMS2 setlist could have been any better. I'm pretty sure the dude was one of the OG 10C members. That deserves a lot of respect as is.
Also, before anyone knew had been picked by him, we were (by like the 15th song) yelling, "this is the most amazing setlist ever!" to each other in the stands. It was clear that we were in for a special night.
If had been "an actual fan," how do we know it wouldn't have been "an actual fan" with bad taste who wanted them to play last kiss and cover Coldplay?

Yeah, that guy was one of the first 10c members ever. Don't see why him getting to kind of know the band over all those years should disqualify him from being a deserving winner! I personally thought his setlist was really good... not as good as I've seen it made out to be, but still very solid. Don't see why anyone one would begrudge that dude for getting to do that. Sounded like he was pretty stoked about it!With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

He's a good friend of the band. I've known the guy from way back... The whole thing was a sham for publicity.PJ_Soul said:

Okay, i'll post at the top too to avoid a totally fucked up block of quotes down the line, lol. That always happens with the top - posters.
How is a long time fan choosing a setlist a sham? Why does it matter if he knows the band? Still seems like he is one of their oldest and most loyal fans. Are you saying he didn't create the setlist? If not, then the would be a sham. Otherwise it still seems on the up and up to me.Haywood Yablomee said:He's a good friend of the band. I've known the guy from way back... 3. Wrigley (may have been higher had it not been for the weather delay)
4. Philly 1 2013 (great set list!)

Cool….i can play this….kinda….
I'll go like this:
Cleveland '10
Detroit '00
Detroit '03 night1
Detroit '06
Detroit '03 night 2
Detroit '98
Whole lot of weird factors that make that list what it is, and most of them weren't the band….tho i guess some of it was the band…like Ed cutting the guy's mullet in '98, or Ed saying Sheryl Crow probably likes dildos in '03, or Mike running thru the crowd in '06, or Steve Earle on the other nite in '03, or the band just flat out playing a hell of a show in Cleveland in '10 (underrated show, toptoptop notch versions of Immortality and Porch, and a tiny standout hook at the end of Black).

I gotta give this a shot. Only 11 shows:
1. Soldier Field 95
2. Kansas City 10
3. Las Vegas 00
4. St. Louis 98
5. Phoenix 13
6. Wrigley 13
7. Missoula 12
8. Portland 13
9. Alpine Valley 98
10. Chicago 98
11. Spokane 13
The Soldier Field show was unbelievable for my first show and I will never forget it. KC was special due to the front row Stone side lottery win. Vegas was the 10th anniversary show and like Wrigley(weather dropped it a lot - vibe was memorable) and Missoula were large 10club shows. St. Louis was when I still had my original membership and got 2nd row Stone side and had the incredible woman doing sign language right in front of us too. Spokane is hard to even consider since I spent 2/3 of the show behind the stage due to my sister passing out in the middle of GA. I consider myself very, very lucky with the quality of shows that I have had the pleasure of attending. BTW, the Phoenix show is going to continue to move up with Bee Girl, Around the Bend(1st time played in 7 years), Hard to Imagine, and Alone all in one encore.Soldier Field 7-11-95, Alpine Valley 6-26-98, United Center 6-29-98, Riverport Amphitheater (St. Louis)7-2-98, MGM Grand Arena 10-22-00, Sprint Center (Kansas City)5-3-10, Adams Event Center (Missoula)9-30-12, Wrigley Field 7-19-13, Jobing.com Arena (Phoenix)11-19-13, Moda Center (Portland)11-29-13, Spokane Arena 11-30-13, Pepsi Center (Denver)10-22-14, Gila River Arena (Phoenix)5-9-22, Moody Center (Austin)9-18-23, Moody Center 9-19-23, Rogers Arena (Vancouver)5-4-24, Rogers Arena 5-6-24, MGM Grand 5-16-24, MGM Grand 5-18-24, Wrigley Field 8-29-24, Wrigley Field 8-31-24, Nashville 5-6-25, Nashville 5-8-250 -

See my sig for all shows. They are like my babies- I cant rank them haha.
While 2013/14 to me include the best setlists ever, I still go with MSG 2 2010 and Philly 3 and 4 2009 (tied) as the best shows I've ever seen.
