Vienna should be epic

they don't play Austria that often and I don't think they have played there for 8 years so I have a feeling they will definitely make this one count, well at least I hope so for all of you lucky enough to attend. Plus Vienna has a very rich music history so a very high bar has been set, I am sure the boys won't disappoint those in attendance, you might just see some real rarities, plus Wiener Stadthalle looks like it has awesome acoustics, and the better a building sounds, the more the band gets fired up AKA Charlottesville, although with Germany the next night (not sure who scheduled that) I hope that doesn't cause Eddie to not go all out on the setlist, fact is they go to Germany way more, and the Vienna crowd will be awesome, I have heard they are some of the best in Europe, and I would sure love to go there someday, hope everyone has an awesome time, from this fan here in Seattle

    I'm thinking it will be high energy with Berlin bringing the weary traveler laid back vibe. My money is on Long Road opener at Berlin (although they did that last time at Wuhlheide)...

    Being an Austrian native (who's lived in California for the past one and a half years), I actually don't expect much energy. Viennese people are natural born Debbie Downers. But of course hoping it will be a great show!

    Some of the best concerts I've been at have had chill crowds. I have high expectations for Vienna.

    no I got an early jump on it, figured Ed or one of the guys might check out the message board between now and then, might give them a little inspiration and get everyone fired up for the show, it hasn't gotten near the attention of some other shows, and Ed likes to but out rare stuff at some of the stops less talked about, like Charlottesville or State College, don't think it will be a greatest hits setlist

    exactly, and the design of the building looks like the acoustics will be amazing, definitely would be a great venue to record a show

    better? that will be hard, no Corduroy, Given To Fly, Better Man or Unthought Known, so you figure those will all be in the setlist tomorrow, but if they play 35 songs it will be awesome, but it is hard to imagine they will play as many rarities
