Epic set. A few fan favorites, some Beatles and Floyd as well thrown in there for good measure.

All or None & Marker make that set for me. Two songs that need a lot more performing than they get.

If I'm honest, a little peeved to see Rain - hoped it was OTOTO at Isle of Wight. It's what made that show special.

Is it just me or have these shows been shorter than the US "An Evening with PJ" shows?

Since no one else's mentioned it, Ed fucked up his knee. Tonight he told a story about Matt Cameron having a Yamaha drum set cuz it came with a free bike, and he can jump over 16 buses life Evil Knevil. So Ed decided to try to jump over three buses and he fucked up his knee. Then went on about things seeming like a good idea when you smoke some pot or something, and then said the moral of the story is you will never be as cool as Matt Cameron. He also said he should've gotten a Vespa. Or something about a Vespa.

Obviously, this was all said in jest and I really hope no one is gonna start a rumor that Ed jumps buses on a motorcycle in his spare time. But he is quite obviously injured. He hops on one leg as his jumping, he still comes out with 110% and puts on a fabulous show. But he does hobble/limp/whatever. Probably wearing a brace under his jeans.

Toward the end he responded to someone in the crowd "this guy wants me to jump into the crowd. Yea that's a great idea, cuz I feel fiiiiiine" with really obvious thick sarcasm. Not mean spirited or anything.

PS tonight was really special. ALL OR NONE!!!!!

(PSS ed gave all. They all did.)

If Eddie's got a fucked up knee, maybe that's why they are cutting the shows a bit shorter right now compared to the NA tour. Just a guess.

His knee had already been mentioned, but thanks for the details. :) I wonder how he really hurt it? That's cool that he's still rockin' it. Wouldn't expect anything less. As long as he can sing and play guitar, he's probably going to put on a great show. :)
