    I read something in the synergy rumour pit that since its smarchees 20th show he's covering eveyones beer. So thats pretty great for everyone!

    I lost the lottery and scrambled this morning to secure two tickets. I am in the Joe.

    I once went to a dave matthews band concert at joe louis arena..im going to guess it was probably sometime in 2002 or 2003..... my seats were pretty terrible, second to last row way back across from the stage. Anyway, the acoustics were awful. It wasn't loud at all... very muffled. Sounded like they were playing 3 buildings away from us and we were listening through all the walls. Think the acoustics will be better for PJ? Anyone been to a concert recently at the Joe? If so, how did it sound?

    also noticed that the ticketmaster app for my iphone worked a hell of alot better than the website. this has worked better for several other concerts as well, just a tip

    I was able to get a pair in 116 and 117 through my livenation app. None of my friends won the lottery so i wanted to spread the fortune to them and kept looking. Looking forward to a new experience behind the stage.

    I was lucky enough to be on the risers on the stage at ACL 2013 for Portugal the Man and the sound from there was awesome musically but the vocals were somewhat weak.

    Just glad I was fortunate enough to score some tickets, more for us and less for scalpers!

    Anybody been in the rear for a PJ show and can comment on the experience?

    I lost the lottery. I really wanted 4 tickets so I could finally take my kids (17 &13 and they love Pearl Jam almost as much as I do). Then yesterday my boss decided to schedule me for a business trip to Florida that runs Oct 12-16.

    I was really bummed and wasn't even going to try for tickets, but then realized that if he changed his mind about the trip later and I couldn't get tickets, that would be the worst. So I ended up with 4 in Section 205. Worst case scenario now is the kids and husband going without me, but it's better than none of us going. I'm not surprised that I ended up in the upper deck buying 4 tickets at once.

    I'm not bitter about the lottery since I had pit tickets for Wrigley.
    The kids of today should defend themselves against the Seventies Nineties.

    I was behind the stage in Buffalo and absolutely loved it! Firstly - you get to watch the master on the kit. Matt is masterful, and it's a blast to watch him do his thing. Next - you get to see the guys when they're taking their down time. For me, I find that somewhat fascinating, like sitting at a hockey game behind the penalty box. Finally - you get to watch the crowd! Being behind the stage is as close as most of us will get to seeing what the band sees - and boy, is it special. Enjoy every minute of it!
