As a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, I have years of seeing LOST next to the events I care about. It sucks that even in the sober light of day, I still have no intention of continuing with the band. Hail Hail the Lucky Ones to get theirs. For me, I guess nothing lasts forever. At least it wasn't an OD or a suicide that stops the music...is it possible to a bitter 32-year old?

I need to point out your mistake with your selections. There's only about 500 pairs of GA tickets to these shows. Making GA your top 3 choices greatly reduces your odds of winning. Someone with reserved as their 1st or 2nd choice will get selected before someone with reserved as their 4th or 5th choice. If you had reversed your selections it is very likely you would have won at least 2 of the reserved choices. It's a numbers game and you didn't play the odds the right way. Just saying.

I feel for the good people who got shut out and hopefully their luck is better tomorrow for the public sale. The demand for these tickets never surprises me though. Detroit will only be my third show but the first two were a couple of the most incredible events I have ever attended. Anyone who is going for the first time will be completely astounded.

Now release the London, Ontario bootleg from last summer!

is anyone familiar with the seating arrangement at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit? I won GA-STANDING tix and it appears only the front 1/3rd of the main floor is GA-STANDING while the back 2/3rd is actually for Main floor "seats". Can anyone confirm this? here is what Im looking at:

The floor is never fully GA at the shows over here. Behind the pit is the section where the members with the higher seniority are seated.

I think what you are looking at is accurate. Each venue seems to have it's own setup. In London last summer the entire arena floor was covered with chairs if I remember correctly. No proper pit at all. In Buffalo I don't recall seeing any chairs on the floor anywhere. Now whether those chairs in Detroit are part of the GA, I don't know but it doesn't seem to indicate that. I guess if nobody else chimes in, we'll find out when we get there. Congrats on getting tix.

Won GA for Lincoln and St. Paul. I was really losing hope. Never been to Lincoln. Hoping it's a cool city.

Very glad they doing these shows in these cities. With the last tour there was no where close to St. Paul MN and I don't really have the means to fly.

You should be able to see the layout now. Just select Pearl Jam from the seating chart drop down list.

ok ok,...I just checked out the seating chart for St Paul.... what are my chances of getting the upper bowl 3rd level behind the stage worst seats in the house tomorrow for face value? anyone have a clue on how "in demand" this is going to be? will it sell out tomorrow? even with the 1000+ seats behind the stage?? any input is appreciated....

FWIW - I would have your information, including credit card, saved on the ticketmaster site (I have my shit saved (probably need to update credit card) but it makes life so much easier.) You don't want to be inputting ANYTHING when the sale could be over at any time. Always assume it will sell out in minutes, if you're wrong, that's great - but prepare for mayhem. Be at your computer well before on sale time. A loose cord or bad internet connection can screw you. Know what you want, be on the page with your choices ready, be prepared to make a quick decision & cross your fingers. Good Luck!!

Yeah, i agree with with you on his selections. That, and consider WHERE he was trying to score tickets(North East area: Boston, NY, Philly, Hartford. Plus Chicago). You may not have won the Philly selection you did win, if the that show was on the weekend. Like Primussucks said, it's a numbers game and thers not many tickets to be had for GA, so your odds are not great to begin with. Moline is a SMALL venue so when you didn't win for GA with your FIRST choice, thers a GREAT chance that you would not win Moline reserved with your 5th choice. Not trying to be an ass here, just trying to give some friendly advice.

But if everybody thought like that and put in for reserved first, then you could have a chance for GA ;;) I guess our selections were not the best either. We entered for Detroit GA 1st and Res 2nd. We wanted to have GA at our hometown show. The other entries were the back-up so to speak. I'm hoping tm will be nice to us tomorrow.

Yeah, that's true. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.

I understand that you wanted GA for your hometown show, but did BOTH of you take GA as your first selection? I assume if you did , the thinking was that would increase your odds in getting a GA ticket, and i would think the same thing. But, maybe if one would've taken reserved as the first choice that may have improved your odds of scoring tickets? And those tickets would be 10C tickets too. Again, you're/me/we, are damned if you do or damned if you don't>LOL

Good LUCK & i HOPE you and Cav score with TM tomorrow morning.

Welcome!
