    I'm not gonna lie I will be very annoyed to have game 7 of the ACLS played the same night...but I still wouldn't give up these tickets! Can you imagine how much more rockin' this city would be??

    I've already moved from "freaked-out about tickets" to "Set list?!?!?" i don't know about the rest of you guys….
    I've never seen Detroiters have such a presence on this board tho, it's pretty great to see. All of these D threads; for one second, it's like our show is as important as an MSG….

    Coming home to The D to see my favorite band at The Joe. This will probably be one of the marquee close out shows for JLA before it gets torn down around 2017. Cannot wait! It's been too long for a city that has hosted some of the all time great PJ shows.

    I just booked rooms at the motor city hotel and casino. It's looks pretty nice and it's close to the arena and ford field (we are going to lions/saints on Sunday). Any insight?? Is it a nice plane? We wanted to stay at the westin but we couldn't get a room all weekend

    not really that close and you will have to drive to the Joe. it is a nice place though. better choice might be the Hilton Garden Inn orDoubletree

    dr122931,it's nice but not that close. You'd be better off at Greektown Casino if its not too late to change. The people mover could take you from there right to the joe

    There's the Joe Louis/Cobo parking ramp adjacent/connected to the venue with a walkway. There's a lot nearby as well.

    Don't you love it when your hometown team coincides with a PJ show...I saw my lions play at Cleveland on way back from Pitt last Oct.
    Prepare to watch your Saints get waxed versus my lions...kidding I think the Saints def will gave a field day as we try to mimic your offense now that we have Lombardi. Good Pearl Jam!
