    I put in for reserved 1st choice, because I didn't like the GA odds. Plus, I recently had a bad GA experience with QOTSA at the Fillmore and would probably rather have a seat to be honest.
    uh oh. i was at queens too. it was rough for me and i was even on the rail and able to hold on.

    I was a row or two back from the rail. A super drunk douche bro pushed into me really hard, then when my boyfriend tried to protect me the guy wanted to fist fight him. I had to get between them until security escorted the drunk douche out.

    Last summer, Alice in Chains at DTE, Jerry Cantrell started to play the opening riff of Detroit Rock City, and after about 10 seconds, stopped and said something like "We're not allowed to play that one." I wonder if KISS is douchy enough to not let people cover their songs
    That's probably true, although I know they have done Black Diamond. I think the top would blow off the Joe, if they could get permission to play it! Funny story about DRC - there was a Kiss cover album put out years ago and apparently Megadeth was going to do DRC, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones wanted to do it, so on the album you hear a phone message for Dicky of the Bosstones
    From Gene saying Megadeth is off the album, but the Bosstobes need to pick another song - then it immediately goes into that awesome guitar riff from DRC. It is awesome! \m/

    I think this is the first time they're actually playing IN detroit in 20 years, am I wrong? They've spent that time in Clarkston or Auburn Hills. Anyhoo...see y'all there, that'll be there---5 months from now:/ !!
