Yah but last years tour is about as big as the band gets now, and they never do a two leg north american tour in consecutive years. This is sort of their motif. Two leg tour when an album drops, and smaller tours in between. They aren't much for touring anymore. Hence why it can be so difficult to get tickets. Less shows mean more people travelling.MayDay10 said:hmm. pretty disappointing 2014
Yeah... 10-12 shows is pretty tiny, and no Saturday shows (other than ACL) is a real bummer.

I must say that I'm disappointed - but on the other hand, I'm happy and excited for you mid-easterners, who won't have to travel as far this time around
Nice to see the band switching things up from time to time!

What the fuck is the real reason they will not play in Louisville? Has to be a dispute between promoters or something. 16th largest city in the US, state of the art facility that hosts the likes of Paul McCartney and the Who, yet PJ always bypasses Louisville... I am grateful for this band, but totally disappointed that for the 20th consecutive year, I have waited with baited breath for a tour announcement to include Louisville and it just has not happened.1998 - Noblesville * Knoxville

I am totally surprised they aren't playing there. All the good bands skip Cincinnati and go to Louisville! The Akkus said:What the fuck is the real reason they will not play in Louisville? Even if i decided to make a big road trip - I couldn't get anyone to go with me. Pushing down disappointment. At least I get to fetch my runaway son and drag him to therapy in an hour and half - that should be a delight. :-S Oh well, that's what I get for coming late to the party.0

Yeah same here. I'm in PA and the closest show is Cinci but that's 9 hours away. On a Wednesday, that's probably not gonna work. Was really hoping for Toronto or Montreal. Wanted to make the trips.njnancy said:Even if i decided to make a big road trip - I couldn't get anyone to go with me. Pushing down disappointment.
