At least it's on a Friday!
Road trip!0 -
I live in Rock Island which is right next to Moline. This is awesome! Basically a hometown show. I'll be able to sleep in my own bed that night. Thanks to the Pearl Jam gods!0

If Moline gets a show but Des Moines/Ames does not, I'll be pretty upset.
EDIT: But I will still go to that show.
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -
The Quad Cities!?! Holy crap. Never thought they would play here.-Pearlhawk.

Show of the tour, book it. They always give up the goods to these odd locations.0

Dang it, more shows within a reasonable distance! 8->Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0

Depends...I thought that would be the case for Thunder Bay in '05 but they blew their collective wad the night before in Winnipeg. Plus it was hot as hell in the building. Only sat about 6-8000 I believe.DewieCox said:Show of the tour, book it. They always give up the goods to these odd locations.

Hopefully you get a show in Des Moines. Since they are that close, it could be likely.lowlighter said:

Pretty cool Red Mosquito 75!0

Dude I thought Thunder Bay still kicked a ton of ass (was at both shows). Opening with Present Tense? Light Years, Down, Driven to Tears? That Supersuckers kid rockin' out? I thought it was one loose, hot, sweaty, fun show in such a small place, loved it.YieldInHiding said:

Whoever said this is the "middle of nowhere tour" was right!Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0

It was a great show but just not a crazy rare setlist like Grand Rapids or an extra long set like State College. At the time everyone kinda thought it would be special but it was just the normal awesome PJ show.adusick said:

there's a reason many songs are "rare"

Looks like this will be the only non-ACL weekend run of the tour. I bet tickets will be tough. I can see lots of people flying in for this one (and probably Milwaukee the following night).0
