Wow! I can't believe it's been seven years. Fantastic show, and it was on Pete Townsend's birthday. The crowd was awesome! I'm really hoping that Pearl Jam returns to Michigan soon!

My thoughts exactly...wasn't so sure on this show, coming off 2 nights in Chicago, but it was the best of the ENTIRE tour, period. The crowd energy was so damn awesome! I remember this was the first PJ show my buddy and I decided to drink at beforehand haha, and My Morning Jacket got everyone pumped up. I heard rumors of a Ten Club seating mixup, so there was a lot of fresh blood up front - just seemed like a looser, more fun-loving vibe. "The Experiment", with Ed clarifying "There's a difference between experimenting with you, and fucking with you."

Another fun fact, and one of my favorite PJ moments - my buddy and I both held up signs for Satan's Bed, and sure enough, Ed saw us, runs over to Stone and switches up the setlist on the spot for us. Thus the "I think we may be fucking with you again, sorry!" I'll never forget that.

This show tops any I've been to, including Alpine '03, Amsterdam and Berlin '12, PJ20 - just a special show and a feeling that was unreal.

Well said. I was very lucky...I had 2nd row seats ( Mikes side) for this show. The energy was crazy. One of the best shows I have seen. I like how they fucked up the opener....then they just went nuts the rest of the night.

So good....the bootleg does not do this show justice. This was a show that you had to be there. One they played Blood!!! Damn so fucking good

3rd row center. Probably the best PJ show I have ever attended or heard on bootleg.

Was definately a great show! Wasn't this like the first time they had played Satans Bed in several years? I loved how they pretty much threw out the setlist and just winged it! The band definately fed off the crowd that show.

bump - 8 years ago now!

I think I got around 10th row due to the 10C ticket mix-up and ended up getting one of Matt's drumsticks that he threw into the crowd at the end (rolled under my seat and I had fend off like ten people lol).

Still ranks up there with the best shows I've seen!

I too got a drumstick up in the wing seats. My buddy stuffed it under his shirt because he thought for sure someone would try to steal it. 8-} One hell of a show. Lets hope they remember how much fun Michigan was and come back this fall.

One of my favorites! If you would have told me that the Grand Rapids show would kill both of the Chicago shows a few days earlier I would have said you're crazy. Still have the poster framed in my basement!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

I love this show. Haven't been there, but when my hubs told me he was there and we played the show, I noticed that lots of my fave versions that I had put in playlists came from it. Please PJ, come back to Michigan!
