I'm a fan of Smash & Ixnay for nostalgic reasons but I've grown out of them since, but i stay interested in where they're going with their work. They're a respectable mainstream band.

4 or 5 great tracks is nice but there's other bands are releasing albums full of great tracks.

Pretty cool. Offspring, Bad Religion and Pennywise touring together. And The Offspring playing "Smash" in it's entirety.

These guys actually killed it about 6 years ago at a festival I was at. They know what they are.... Go out, have a blast, play the songs people want and call it a day. Intense crowd, too.

  • Not the biggest Offspring fan, but last night, there was a pre-sale for the Toronto show at Echo Beach on Thursday, August 7. There was a small amount of $20 tickets and I was able to buy three of them (as opposed to pay $64/ticket). One of my biggest steals ever and I couldn't happier to see The Offspring playing Smash in its entirety with support from Bad Religion, Pennywise and The Vandals.

Cool! Ixnay was cool as well but after that, I feel like they are few and far between on albums. But, they still make great music. Smash Isabel amazing album though.

Saw them in the UK in 1997 (got the rail for that show, haha!) Loved the albums of that time, but I didn't bother with them after that.

oh yes, those were fantastic records. I recall going to town the day of release for Ixnay and getting a first day release special cover.......oh when independent record shops were everywhere!!

I always forget about them, and yet Smash was played endlessly by my whole group of friends and bandmates at the time. But man, when pretty fly hit..........good god. that was one of the biggest creative nosedives in the history of popular rock.

Still like their first 4 albums though. Ignition, S/T, Smash, and Ixnay.

I saw them and no doubt and weezer in Long Beach circa early 2000's. I've never seen a GA floor get so crazy in my life. I was fearing for fans of No Doubt that were surely mixed within the fray.

I wanted to see Offspring in 99 or 2000. But for some reason, no one wanted to go. everyone was more interested in a house party rather than a good concert and THEN hitting the house party.

First time i saw them was in '99. Fun show. Saw them a years later in '03 and '04. They remind me of STP. Mostly just play their hits. I liked Smash and Ixnay as well. Also dug Americana, Conspiracy of One, and Splinter i thought was kinda underrated. Their last two albums were ok, but didn't really do anything for me.
