    i dunno why they stopped releasing live shows, is it because they sold poorly, or was it the bitching from members i dunno, but i miss them.

    agreed. it was a wonderful thing they gave us and it really punishes those like me who is past my prime and cant get away from the job and kids and cris-cross the country following them around like in the old days!

    yeah they probably stopped the bootlegs because too many people were just downloadin them for free and they were making no money for it. no selling a itw live cd.....that's be pretty sweet.

    I think they'd definitely sell tons more if they:

    A) Returned to actual CD's ala 2000 & 2003

    or

    B) Sold the downloads for a lower price

    Anyway, yes, I'll add my voice to the mob. Please bring back the boots, Ed's tour would be a fine place to start (then catch up on last year's...).

    If Ed is only doing a handful of solo shows before joining back up with the group for summer/fall stuff, then hell ya, I am investing in all downloads of his solo shows as I am sure they will be unique and special.

    How many of us feel like we are missing something when we dont get the Ed Solo song Pre Sets with the boots from year's past? Well, this would be an entire show you wouldn't be getting.

    I spent most of the day debating whether or not I should try and get tickets, and if succesful book a flight and hotel. If Skybus still made flights from Columbus to San Diego, I would seriously consider the trip, but since they are stopping that, I have decided not to make the trip.

    With that said, some official boots would sure be nice since this is such a rare opportunity that so many PJ fans would give almost anything to be a part of, but most of us will not be able to be. I really really really hope they consider selling them. With so many fans missing out on the tour, I bet they would sell better than a normal tour where a lot of people only buy a few given shows other than the ones they get to attend.

    Boots of these shows would be amazing.

    Shame they've stopped doing the boots thing but I guess they have their reasons. I know I bought quite a few from the first few tours but haven't since the 03 tour. Money was a factor as I was travelling after that so money was tight. I'd pay for shows i went to and and the odd other great shows here and there be nice if you could download by song for the rare ones as it was expensive buying a boot just for the odd song here and there.

    There are going to be LOTS of people who can't go to these shows for one reason or another and MANY who can't get tickets even if they wanted to go
    as the venues are small.

    this is a unique tour that a lot of people have waited a long time for.
    PLEASE release boots from this tour!!!

    I know I, and lots of others, will buy every show. Make them for WM3, charity or whatever, but PLEASE release them.

    Perhaps if we can get lots of people adding to this thread, they will listen!
